“Teen pregnancy doesn’t have to be negative” that’s your privilege talking. You’re both INCREDIBLY lucky to have not only emotional, but financial support from your parents. Please recognize that you’re in an ideal teen pregnancy situation, and that it IS a negative situation for so many.
@allwhatilove9143 жыл бұрын
I am completely against teen pregnancies but lets be fair they said ''doesnt have to be negative'' and not that ''it's not negative to many''. They know they are lucky but let's be serious: at age 15 EVERY CHILD should have a nice happy life with supportive well off parents in a nice house. And if they dont have that it is their PARENTS fault for not providing what a child needs and should not have kids that they cant afford taking good care off. The same goes to those teens.

The novelty will wear off as soon as they have to get a home of their own and financially support their family on their own. Until then they are not the success they portray themselves to be. They are simply still a teen couple who loves each other and had a baby. They haven’t “made” it or succeeded at anything yet. Well, the people in this video's comment section are clearly very jealous of the fact that they have wealthy supportive parents to help them raise their child. Yes, they are privileged. But it's not their fault. They were both lucky enough to be born into a comfortable life with loving, hard-working parents. They themselves are still kids, so of course they think their classmates are jealous of what they consider a fairytale romance and perfect family because they don't know any better. But the mother is correct. People that don't have or have never received the kind of support this couple gets from their parents are 100% jealous of them.
@cindyirene20012 жыл бұрын
@@xcelestialsongx First of all, hard-working and privileged are mutually exclusive. There’s plenty if not more hardworking unprivileged people, they just don’t have access to the same resources, opportunities, and advantages as privileged people. Privileged people often have generational wealth and inheritance and much of their wealth has often been acquired by less than humane and/or ethical means. Second, this entire comment just sounds apologist and apathetic to those who truly need it. Third, no, that’s a giant assumption and self-grandiose idea to think people are jealous. People are just acknowledging that these kids can make these mistakes and not feel a struggle based on a privilege that they didn’t earn.

Being young doesn’t make you a bad parent. It’s how you make it work. I don’t look down on young parents because my parents were young and I watched them work their way to the top and they provided the best lives for me and my siblings. I’m the oldest out of 4. I love the support of the family. It is so important. It takes a village to raise kids and being mad or throwing your kids out doesn't change anything. At the end of the day it's your grandchild and your own child you would be throwing out and probably missing out on some really great times. I am glad to see both parents involved with thier baby and I wish them so much good things on their journey. I love how honest her parents were. Of course mom is there supporting and holding it together and dad is mad ...which is a complete natural and okay way to feel. We want our kids to enjoy being kids before being parents but once it's happened it's happened and we have to support. I hate to see a teen pregnancy cause I too want my child to enjoy that small amount of time they get to be a kid but I would fully support my child at times. I think also it was great that her mom admitted that she was totally clueless to her daughters sexual activities because to be really honest there are SOOOO many things our own parents didn't know we did and they thought we were angel's growing up lol best of luck on their journey!!

I guess parenting at any stage and age is hard, but she said it's so worth it. I am currently 24 and have a degree, working on my bachelor's degree now. Parenting is tough at all stages. Yes it so worth it but I does change the course of life and what you can do because kids come first, they didn't ask to be here. Now in that same breath children do not take away from chasing dreams, it just at times can add more to the plate, especially if your doing it alone. But congrats on your road to a bachelor degree. As for me, the thought of being in a relationship and subsequently doing the thing with a supposed partner as a teenager is definitely unbelievable on my part. At that age, it's best to enjoy teenage life to its ultimate fullest. By all means, having a child alone is a HUGE responsibility for life, and you can't even retire from being a parent...EVER. Anyways, that being said, I hope that this family prospers and will continue to be blessed. Sure, they have their own fair share of flaws and mistakes, but that doesn't necessarily mean they could never be good parents to their daughter. So, kids, it's best to live as kids for as long as it's necessary, because trust me, your childhood years are precious and you can never take it back once you've evolved into a full grown adult. Take it as an advice from me then.
