Benedek Herman, a medical school dropout who turned his study struggles into the idea for Voovo, is on a mission to build a unicorn with AI-powered flashcards for universities. After solving his challenges and becoming the top student in his class, he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. Now, he’s fully focused on taking Voovo global to help university students everywhere overcome similar struggles.
Voovo is an EdTech startup offering AI-powered flashcards for university students and innovative tools for teachers to make lectures more interactive. Originally founded in Budapest, Hungary, Voovo is now expanding across Europe and the USA, starting with pilot programs at select universities. Benedek and his team were part of Techstars accelerator program in Turin and have raised $500K from Techstars and other investors.
Benedek and his team have a mission beyond just flashcards. They’re working to disrupt the education system by making learning easier and more engaging for university students.
