Wow this was very impactful. I think of myself as a mini you in the regard that I had heart surgery at 16 years old, just two years ago, because I had a heart defect that didn’t let me play sports or exercise. After that experience I was very grateful to my cardiologist for walking me through everything and conducting tests since I was 7 years old that I now want to be a cardiologist or a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist. I say anesthesiologist only because I want a family and lots of time with them, but I fear that if I truly follow my passion to become a surgeon I won’t have any time for my family. Thanks for sharing your story. I look forward to seeing your story unfold.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I had a passion for soccer. Tore both of my ACLs and medial menisci in high school and medical school. Doctors kept telling me that I should not play anymore. I kept playing till my 4th surgery when my dr finally said that I had a risk of being on a wheelchair for life if I dont stop. I went into deep depression in medical school after that. Contemplated suicide. Gathered just enough energy to seek therapy. Somehow made it out of medical school and a one year internship where i was working 50 hours/week. For post grad, I chose usmle just for the reason its the hardest medical exam. Solely for this reason. I have just passed my step 1 and am currently preparing for step 2 now. Your videos have helped me navigate this stressful process and have helped me so much

Great video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

i have been in such a situation. i love my woman and unfortunately we separated about two years ago, but i could not let her go, so i had to do all i could to get her back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual adviser who helped me bring her back, now we are back together, and i must say i am enjoying every moment.

I would recommend just leaning into things like videos and podcasts to play to your strengths rather than trying to force yourself to read textbooks or other things that are less effective for you
