Oh id love to see that, i wanted shove him over backwards when he got all up in her personal space. We’ve all been put in that situation & theres a biiig difference in how we read it vs them. Plenty of times you just cant feel comfortable responding forcefully, wether out of concern for your job or your personal safety. Because of that, Most of those rudely invasive guys never get “corrected”… some are just ignorant, but some are intentionally using that, picking who they harass (like their waitress etc) knowing damn well they will have to just smile & take it 🤬🖕 I dunno where Vin fits in, seems kinda tainted by “star syndrome” & privilege, surrounded by adoring yes-men & never being challenged. You can really see it by how childish he was about the Rock situation, couldnt handle the challenge with humor & humility. The privilege part isnt just bein rich & famous, its bein such a huge dude all his adult life. Seems like he just has no idea what it feels like to feel physically threatened & scared… like most women have to deal with all the time out in public… at work, bars, stores, trains, just walking home. You have no idea which ‘inappropriate advance” is gonna lead to something worse, or who’s gonna respond aggressively if you deny them.

You can tell by the look on her face that she DIDN'T LIKE IT. The fact that some people don't see a problem here is mesmerizing. "If she didn't like it, she should've said something." And what, risked her job? Risked getting black listed? Like it or not, celebrities are undeservedly powerful people who can ruin a person overnight. Not only that, but when you're getting harassed, sometimes it throws you so off guard you freeze up. A guy forcefully kissed me at a bar once. I wanted to smack him across the face, but when it happened I was so shocked I just sat there, completely paralyzed. It was so sudden and unprompted that it took me a second to process what even happened. By the time I reacted, he was already halfway across the bar. I eventually got up to confront him about it and his response was: "Hey, girl! If you saw my abs, you wouldn't be complaining!" He then preceded to take his shirt off and dance. I went home and the whole experience kind of soured bars for me. After that, I didn't go to bars unless it was with a _big_ group of friends. I feel so sorry for that reporter, who just wanted to be taken seriously and do her job.

I couldn’t agree more, Michelle. I think there’s nothing wrong with giving a compliment, but the guy still needs to be able to read her reaction and/or read the room. The whole point of a compliment is to make that person happy, NOT yourself. I often will tell random people that they look really nice, are really beautiful, or are stunning…but I’ll simply walk up to them, say ’’you’re stunning’’, smile, and walk away. In the cases where I’m interested in possibly asking the person out, I probably wouldn’t ever open with my judgment of their looks…I feel like that sets a bad tone for the rest of that relationship, I usually look to see if there are any indicators of their likes and dislikes and go that route. Every single one of us will eventually succumb to the effects of those yearly visits from Father Time where he gives you some wrinkles with each visit. Some of us may get lucky for some of those years, but ultimately, we all age so don’t invest too much in how your future partner looks cause they won’t look like that for long…but a good heart and a good soul could last forever.

Whenever some guy is flirting with me despite my obvious discomfort- which happened recently at work! He was asking when I got out of work and twice my age!- I always make sure to mention while not outright rejecting to not cause anger that could lead to violence that the reason why is that I think my boyfriend would have a problem with it. Sure, he isn't here right now, but he would be coming for you if you did a n y t h i n g. I am pretty sure my bf would kill my killer no matter how I feel about it and to be honest I would mostly be upset because either he is in prison over it or running and I would want him to have his life. I think creepy dudes understand this/ know I have somebody to protect me and would not even think of continuing to mess with me. I have been thinking of maybe getting some kind of ring that projects that I am taken. Not been in the budget but maybe sometime soon. Anytime we could spare it my bf could get me one because he knows full well what sort of rings I like.
