My 1 bedroom apartment in Ohio has gone from 745 per month 2 years ago to $1070 plus $85 per month for water for 1 person. That's $410 increase in 2 years, it's over 50%. Capitalism is a fail either way you look at it. I've been paying taxes all my life and my own government is going to make me homeless someday. SMH

Hi🖐😃 This is Kimberly Chandler in the video. My mom passed away when I was in the shelter. Her last words to me in the shelter were, "Baby girl if I had my own place, you can come live with me." I remember when I was in my 40s, she told me, "Kimberly, pull yourself by your bootstraps and keep on going. Nobody else in my family didn't even offer for me to come live with them because of my mental challenges. About four of them gave me money. My brother put me in hotels a few times. Then he told me to go home that it is my husband's responsibility to care for me. I respected what he told 😊 he sent me back to Ohio from Alabama on a Greyhound. I didn't give up and sometimes thought what my mother said again at my age 51 at the time, PULL YOURSELF UP BY YOUR BOOTSTRAPS KIMBERLY.😊
