Hi Arshdeep, no we actually didn’t need to show our passports travelling by train. But I’d recommend keeping it handy in case some does ask to check it.

The quickest is to fly and sometimes there are great deals. Or the train is roughly 7 hours.

There is no border control between EU countries via train.

No they didn’t do any border checks but that seems to be normal in the EU 😅

How many hours take time?

It was actually really quick considering how far we travelled. It was about 5 hours from Milan to Nice then we had to switch onto a local train which was slower because of so many stops, that train was about 1.5hours.
