Oh awesome guest! We used to watch Matt's YT ages ago when he used to do the cute Luca intros 😍 Well before 100K subs from memory! Congrats Matt on the success & you too James 💪

I'm a 60 yr old white female. Don't work out anymore ( in a gym) but I enjoy Matt does Fitness videos because it isn't just one thing. It's family, his house being built, it's fitness, it's challenges. He and his wife and family are interesting. I really respect that once his oldest son wasn't interested in being on camera he didn't push him. I litterly have nothing in common with his life yet I find his videos entertaining. I watched this video because he was in it and found I actually enjoyed it. So yes, women do watch utube videos.

You are so easy to listen to James. You would be a youtube sensation in no time if you created a youtube on your daily life / training etc, similar to what matt does I guess. However keep doing what works best for you. Great podcast.

Love this! Great catching you in a longer format. I would love to see you chat to Nile Wilson and crew (Ash and Luke). I think you guys would align well on the idea of movement and finding the thing you love to keep active, as well as the social media conversation. Would be a great laugh as well!

Superb listen. Top stuff 👍🏼 and Matt shouldn’t worry about his kids - I kept my 4 all away from football and they grew up fine!

1:00:00 This is a massive lesson for the current generation. Matt hits the nail on the head. Governemnt regulations and forcing of things to be made public and free have completely ruined the product for those that it is supposed to help.

I must admit, I've watched Matt's videos previously and haven't been a fan. But the 3 of you together is enjoyable watching. The dynamics of your three different interests, knowledge and levels of ego, work really well together! Would definitely watch more content with the 3 of you together 👍🏼

Wow. Time flew and what a great conversation to listen to. I’ve watched a ton of Matts stuff and love his challenges stuff in particular especially when he and his pal swam in a freezing lake for a swim element! Also great idea on releasing here first to help grow your YT and attract more guests.

agree! Im a cardiothoracic ICU nurse leaving the profession because you are not appreciated, made to work weekends, holidays, cant get leave for events such as weddings, important family things, made to work nightshift - and the good nurses always get slammed and the shit nurses skate through with the same pay. 15 years and Im out. I will be a physio soon :) but again - uni and expensive!

Great podcast. I’ve followed Matt for ages which brought me to you guys. Have to say though, on the topic of university, you’re right that it isn’t for everyone, still in some respects having a degree is hugely beneficial. For example, if you want to work in certain countries, if you don’t have a degree, you won’t get a visa. I agree, that’s a bit nuts, but it’s reality. But on the other hand, University is what you make it. Just like starting a business or a podcast or a KZbin channel. Go in half arsed, you will fail.

I wonder where all these guys will be in 5 years? I mean they’re obviously all gonna be rich but I feel that it’s tougher for people in their late 30’s or being 40 to succeed at the same level at someone in their mid 20’s in this KZbin/insta/TikTok game. Probs different for James as he can write books till the cows come home. Mike Thurston seems to be going more into the lifestyle vlogs as well.

James I've been following you for years on Facebook, was drawn to you after a fitness expo I went to- I got jack of all the bs bodybuilding industry and felt I didn't fit into that shit! Started searching for some truth, tada. See so much of you on Facebook, I hope your KZbin will offer something different. I like this format, just guys hanging out discussing fitness. I don't have many mates who are into fitness so it's great to watch guys getting excited about it. Should grab some average Joe's off the street/ gym in to the panel for a chat about their fitness journeys could make good viewing. As long as they're not boring cunts!

Great poddy James and Diren. If your aim is to improve your content then just from an avid viewer's perspective, could you maybe pay someone on fiver to seperate these podcasts into segments like for example Chris Williamson does on his? Only came up in my mind because I'm gonna assume you're gonna ask Matt about Andrew Tate and I like hearing your discussions about him and his content and being able to find that quickly would be cool!

When it comes to Jiu Jitsu competitors who make 60k as you said, can they really afford business class? That 60k has to be taxed, they have to pay a percentage to coaches, management e.t.c. If they're getting 60k for every bout and making that 3-4 times per year then fair enough.

I'm not sure if this is actually true but supposedly the KZbin algorithm really doesn't like people swearing, so the amount "fucks" used in this video could be killing the views as youtube won't be pushing it out to all audiences...
