I hope EA returns to making cricket games as the scenario has changed now from what it was way back in 2007. People (especially from the subcontinent) now are ready to pay for the original game copy instead of the pirated one.

For cricket we do not need a chess level AI, but at the most how batting team is pacing the innings or when to put more fielder in the circle, or the bowlers bowling yorkers & slower balls in death overs etc, has to be there.

We need animation of fielders diving to try stop the boundary! They dont even have to retrieve it. So if you time it ‘IDEAL’ then the ball goes past the rope with ease. But if your timing is ‘good’ the fielder has a chance.

Not sure, but they were not developers of Ashes 2009 but were the publishers. Game was developed by transmission games. Anyway EA has acquired code masters so it’s done now

I am not getting any edge catch wickets in Cricket 24. Nobody is mentioning this issue. There is no realism in Test cricket. But when I am batting, the AI bowlers are getting more edge catches to the keepers and slips. However, when I am bowling pace, I am not getting any edge catches like in real Test cricket. This is bad.

Except for first slip, no issues with other catches for me. You won’t get first skip catches while bowling pace. That is an issue in the game. Other wise second, third slip gully.. no problem. Just need to be patient and use real world tactics.

Hi bro..make a video on cricket 24 ai..its broken imo..fielders don't move..spinner keeps bowling the same length even if the ball goes for a wide again n again..too easy to score runs even on the hardest difficulty batting with AI bowling quality on 100..also the major issue is edging..I play on hardest..even on keeping poor timing edges to 100 I never edge the ball when my timing is bad..On C19 and 22 edges were very balanced and when 70 on poor timings in sliders was very difficult to play..have they made batting easier? I time shots with buttons..the game is so easy that it isn't fun at all..will they fix the AI..do give your thoughts

Which control scheme are you using? If standard, then switch to Pro for batting. Lot of edges with right sliders. Arcade controls dont provide good game and is too easy. It was already mentioned by Big Ant themselves.

Ifs and buts. You need to explain where and how it cant compete. Big ant’s bowling mechanism is already deeper than any other cricket game has ever done. The batting simulation of dbc 14 and ashes 17 already over took anything the arcade style if batting EA provided. Just nostalgia isnt enough. Ball Physics , fielding mechanics,game modes.. player movements..
