When Martin said there were worst things than the monsters, the first thing that came to mind was when Victor was looking at the cave drawings, stick people, on the wall, there was one that stood out from the rest. It was red, huge, and extremely hideous.

I honestly enjoy the fact that the creatures don't seem to have a supernatural ability to find people. Had the couple on the bus not made ant noise, they might not have been found.

Victor doesn't know Elgin, and he came out of nowhere with the monster right behind. Leading the monsters to Victor 's hiding place. A place that he hide in without a talisman.

Martin definitely had some kind of powers because to know about Abby and be able to toss the rope while being chained up is crazy. He transfer the power to Boyd that’s why Boyd didn’t get spotted by the monsters in the forest

Yeah, I think that Martin and those other people that were chained up because they had powers that gave them an advantage, so whoever chained them up probably wanted to keep them away from the other people as well, also due to whatever was in the blood must’ve given them powers. Maybe Martin had telepathic and telekinetic powers or some other psychic abilities.

I was thinking too those blood parasites is what kept the monsters from noticing him. Though, it's possible they just didn't expect someone to be out in the woods and he was pretty quiet. Though his torch was lit for a few seconds that I think they should have seen. Hopefully we'll find out as so far, they've not provided any answers to anything.

I thought Season 2 Episode 1 that Boyd ended up in the lighthouse. And he was going to make it to the top and we'd be able to get some answers as to where they are or let us see what is out there. Though that didn't happen and we just have questions, no answers. I think it will be interesting when this show is over if we'll be able to go back and see clues had been left all along as to what is going on.

What if Martin was a scarecrow? He was hung on a wall by his wrists and he wasn’t the only one who Boyd saw hanging there. Scarecrows are typically hung and used to discourage birds from feeding on newly spread seeds or crops. What if the worms in the skin protect Boyd from the monsters in the town and therefore he is able to help protect the townspeople (seeds and crops) from being eaten by the monsters (birds). It’s a wild guess but anything is possible😊.

OR The things in the skin are what turns you into one of those creatures because it's obvious you don't get turned by the creature themselves because they devour their prey. So how did some of them turn into creatures? Did these "aliens" infect them? Maybe Marvin chained himself to the wall or maybe the other Marines did, If there were any, so they wouldn't turn and go crazy. Just thoughts.

If you look at the side of the truck, you'll see it's a delivery truck for PEACHES- explaining why they hadn't run out of peaches before Season one, episode seven. It wasn't a plot hold- just something to make us fans put things together.

I think all of the monster's use to be human but we're infected by the alien parasites and the age they die/ turn are the age they stay. Back when Victor was a kid sometime in the 1950s which explains the clothing. The Milkman Etc and 1950s memorabilia.

I continue to have so many questions with this show and screaming at the characters to shut up 😂 I have a theory though, I don’t think the monsters are eating the people but just rip put their guts just for fun and to scare the survivors. They don’t have blood on them when we see them walking around or when Tabitha and Victor saw them sleeping in their natural forms in the caves. Also going along with your boogieman theory, I think the they Martin was warning Boyd about were the worms, he said they will come when the music stops and they worms appeared when the music stopped… Also where is Sarah?

It could be like Squid Games or Alice in Borderland, where there are two opposite teams (neither with a choice), that the humanlike monsters actually started out as occupants of cars and buses just like the humans. Jasmine did say that she didn't want to be the way she was, it wasn't her choice. Perhaps smiley was playing with the bus trying to remember his human past? just a thought, bet there will be ever crazier developments to come...

I think most of the casting for the older and younger versions of the characters are excellent, and I think juxtaposing their lives after their ordeal in the wilderness with their younger selves makes for some interesting story telling.

The theory behind the evolution of the monsters is very interesting. They are quite sly. That Colony breach was clever. They know how to seduce lol. I was wondering if the monsters were blind or have vision problems which is why they walk and get extra close to their "prey". I think Boyd has some tainted blood that the monsters are immune to. You see how they just walked passed him?

Remember they have some kind of hypnosis too. They don't look like someone people know (in the first episode the girl specifically said "you don't look like my grandma" and yet she still opened the window, and that other one said to Julie "don't you recognize me") and yet they can still get people to go into a kind of trance and do as they ask. I suspect the foolish man who opened the window wasn't just seduced but actually had some of their power (or whatever it is) on him too hence his trust.

There is a picture in the opening credits and it really looks like it could be a bogeyman, not sure if the pic is in an actual episode, but man I think you have nailed it, I was thinking it was some kind of ancient malevolent evil, but now after reading about the bogeyman, and the scarecrow imagery, and the crows, and the children Tabitha gets visions of, it seems that you may be very close to what is going on. How it all fits together, like the night creatures for example, is still a mystery, but perhaps the people of the town have got trapped in the bogeyman's world, perhaps they are providing him with power, or the creatures eating people is feeding it somehow. So many questions but thanks for your vid and for the astute guess, well done.

I Think The Tree Starts The Loop And The Birds Keep You From Crossing. I Also Kinda Think Martin Could Have Chained Himself…. But I Have Three Things I’m Curious About And That’s The Monsters Layer, Night Travel, And The Monsters Being Almost Like A Level Or Cause For Study. Maybe The Monsters Are Out At Night To Keep Them In Town. Almost Like The Seal, Veal, Or Partition Could Be Open Or At It’s Weakest So The Monster Could Be Keeping Them In Fear And Inside So They Wouldn’t Leave. Secondly I Wonder If They Would Consider Sealing Off The Layer Now That Some Know The Location. This Could Be Dangerous Or Cause Pushback But I Would In That SituationAt Least Consider It As A Option. Seal It Off, Cover It Up, Or Blow It Up. Lastly We Know A Layer, They Only Walk, They’re Limited To Night. I Would Consider Further Study Of Them In Order To Learn And Beat Them. Have A Brave Soul(s) Track Them When It’s Close To Sunrise, Put Obstacles In The Way, And May Use That Bus To Trap One…

E-Man, theory time. A few things I noticed or think are going on. 1. Martin passed on his abilities, and the issue with Byods arm is now gone, with additional abilities that will show themselves later. Or maybe it can be seen as a curse. Remember, he stayed alive with no substance for years. 2. I think time travel played a part when Byod left the tower, he walked through the door, but on the other side, he saw the fallen structure. He was also noticeably sick after exiting, It could be from time travel, or it could be from the gift/curse that was given to him by Martin. Remember this is Sci-fi horror.

I got the feeling that when boyd was scratched and then the monsters walked by, they didnt bother with him because whatever the guy's (martin) blood was made him immune or not a target for the monsters. It could be that now hes one of them. Also that bug in his skin reminded me of Sara's arm when the voices wrote kill the boy.

I believe Martin was captured the by getting stuck in the same shaft Boyde was stuck in. He mentioned that those trees can send you to bad places and places that can trap you. So Martin was on a quest in the forest too.

***Maybe this is all Victor's world. The end will be Victor as an adult in a psych ward with all these delusions from a traumatic experience in a real town where he lost his parents. And a lot of the characters resemble people in his life like the workers who care for him etc...

Elgin in one scene you see him with tshirt with a raven.....I think he is a mole, he knew where he was and said hes not supposed to be there....season 1 you see ravens land on that fallen tree maybe that is how Elgin knows about the town he might be a vessel or portal that has seen stuff like that in his dreams...meaning the ravens eyes....kind of like the movie "the crow" since portals and possession are the theme.....he could be like that girl that killed dude in the hospital and slashed her bros throat.....maybe Victor senses that.

I think Ellis is afraid about that. Im surprise people acting so cringe towards Fatima. 2. The new guy had a house fall on him and bleeding inside. And people saying he should be quiet. Really? Yall would be hollering too and from less. 3. People thinking Boyd not asking questions given the situation he was in. Im sure people are level headed to ask specific questions given a weird situation. People need to stop think rational. Boyds trying to help someone and wasn't thinking about those questions as normal wouldn't be thinking that too. Anyways love the show and love hearing your reaction Eman's

We all expect characters to act realistically and when they do... we suddenly don't like it. Brick, along with Tom and the bar keep had a whole house fall on them and ppl complaining one is in pain and dying lol And then there's Fatima who's been going through it and people think she acting irrational. I think she on the verge just like Ellis mom tbh. A fed up, scared, hopeless, etc PTSD. I think when the "creeps" said she'll feel better IF she came outside, the look on her face said, umm... maybe giving these people the finger wasn't the best idea.

OMG DIONNE you're correct! Victor mouthed Elgin's name at the same time Elgin said his name, almost like he was reading his mind or knew who he was! Victor looked like he was in pain when mouthing "EL-GIN." There is much more to know about Victor than meets the eye.

Perhaps these monsters represent his childhood fears. or people that were cruel to him during his lifetime. In the show's last scene I could see him waking up from a coma in a mental institution or hospital room sorta like Dorothy waking up in her bed after being knocked out cold and imagining the Wizard of Oz story.

That old dude was like a Mimir from Norse Mythology. Boyd was in a well. Just like the well of knowledge. When Odin goes there, Mimir says he needs a sacrifice to drink from the well to gain the knowledge. Odin plucks out his eye and throws it in. The sacrifice was enough. Odin drank the mead or the water or whatever it was, and became knowledgeable. The well showed Boyd a vision of Ellis. Ellis says "Hey Dad, are we going to take out the boat?" The place was telling him to make a good sacrifice. Like his only son. Then Boyd can have all the information he needs. Interestingly, in the S1 Finale episode, we have Clara the Clarvoyant convey some very important knowledge to us about the storm. Later in that same episode, her eye is wounded. I enjoyed the potrayal of the archetype. It was just a snapshot. I don't really mean Clara is clairvoyant. It was just some symbolism to get us ready to help us puzzle out the meaning.

Love you reviews. Still fairly new. Stopped the video to ask .... when the cars come across the tree, they all turn around. Looking at the space on the road, how did the bus turn around? (Might be a nick pick, but it's in my head.) The other, if traveling by the trees can land you where the 'bad ppl' can get you .... is it safe to say that it's POSSIBLE that Sarah wound up with the 'bad ppl?' They could have more than one location to store ppl .... back to watching the video!!

I believe in a way Martin was possessed by the worms. Allowing him psychic abilities and not letting him die. And I believe Abby was Eloise so maybe that’s how they met. When she was there before. I have more of a theory to this but it would be spoilers as I gained it after watching it all.
