And she formed a friendship with Kenny with the potential for more, they didn’t know if they’d get out or see the people they left behind ever again, we also find out later that her and her girlfriend had a rocky relationship due to her drug addiction. You can’t blame Kenny. He did in fact lose Kristi when Mari came to town.

22:45 Drug addiction is actually extremely common in medicine especially with dr’s and nurses. The high stress environment, long hours, and availability of narcotics all contribute. A therapist friend of mine ran a group SPECIFICALLY for doctors in recovery in a small-medium sized town so as bizarre as it seems I think they actually are nailing it with her character

I don’t understand how y’all thought she was on the second floor when she was looking out the first floor window. She was looking out the window that was over looking the porch, where the monster was crossing when she got shot. The police meant to shoot the monster and the shot went through the windowon the first floor. Even when she walked into colony house, she sees Nikki on the couch on the first floor.

True it is a raised balcony but yeah the window is kind of high the would have to shoot aiming up. As well as she was shooting hit monsters from good distance she should not miss this bad. Plus gun shots were not effective she should have stoped shooting a long time ago.

In the officer's defense, her mind is not understanding that she has entered a world where these monsters exist and bullets do not harm them. She watched the 2 EMTs get brutally killed. She is in shock, and unfortunately, Nicki caught the bullet meant for one of the monsters. Boyd came at her so hard because of his guilt at leaving Randall. I'm sure Donna will be the one to explain everything to her. Donna's breakdown with Boyd was a powerful scene. Great review! Love this show so much!!!

i think you are right in that Ethan needs to see exactly what those monsters are doing; they need to show him the dead paramedics in the morning. he keeps opening doors it is not safe. it will traumatize him but then i guess he will just end up like Victor which isn't the worst that can happen

I think Christopher seemed to change into a monster after he began seeing those symbols, and Jasper started bossing him around. When Miranda told Victor and Eloise to hide and never come out, she likely meant they should hide from Christopher. The next morning, everyone was dead except for Christopher and Jasper, who were missing. Last season, we saw Jasper in the tunnels where the monsters sleep.

What if there’s some kind of limit on the number of deaths in that place? For example, only 3 people could die that night. The third one was supposed to be Rendell, but at the moment when he was being attacked, that girl in the colonial house started dying from the bullet, and that’s why Rendell stayed alive.

Christie's girlfriend is an opiate addict, NOT a meth addict......there's a big difference.....opiate addicts go through nightmarish, horrible withdrawals. Unfortunately I know quite a lot on that subject

And whether some is an opiate addict, heroin addict or meth addict it has nothing to do with their skills at their job. Not saying it doesn't influence their behavior while on drugs and with opiates the after effects of withdrawals can last for quite awhile. Because she just finished opioid withdrawal recently she could be going through that period after but she wasn't acting like it. She probably wasn't addicted long enough to experience that. Nor is it something people with no experience with addicts would know about. But I guess with the reaction on this video about her being a drug addict what really happens isn't well known and people have an immediate reaction that the addict can't be adept.

The fact that there is no connection on the phone is not a surprise 😂 it would not surprise me considering everything going on in that place. I think the voice on the phone was trying to lure Ethan outside. It knew if he saw that ambulance he would run out to get his mom.

So i have a theory as to why Randell isn't dead. Remember when they were in that sleep and they were kind of sick or something? Now, remember when Boyd was sick when he caught that weird illness from that man chained to the wall? And the kid's were chained to the wall when they were in that deep sleep. Now, remember when Boyd used his blood i believe, to kill that one monster?? That illness is lethal to the monsters. Maybe Randell and the other 2 are, in some way infected now! And that is why the monsters didn't finish him off! U can see they only slashed his face! They didn't gut and hallow him out like they did to literally everyone else. Maybe they couldn't finish him off because he/something in his body, is lethal to the monsters! So they COULDN'T finish him off. Also it could explain the comment by the voice on the phone. "They aren't your children anymore" because the Matthew's daughter was one of the ones who was effected by that sleep illness. Ethan wasn't but they could have been referring to his sister.

I don't think Eloise died because he never mentions her body. Victor only thinks she died. I'm hoping the next episode will continue at night so more stuff happens at the cabin. But a plus is at least they are talking to each other.

Boyd’s wife was a Marine (not a cop) “Iron Abbey”. I also believe in reincarnation, ie. Tabitha is the reincarnated soul of Meridith (credit to @parklinmedia) but a reincarnation is born at the time of the previous soul’s death. It’s for this reason I don’t believe timeline will work for Ofc. Costa being reincarnation of Abbey (Boyd’s wife).

The knocking on the cabins may be Eloise. She may also be responsible for the statues. Their mother was an artist, Victor and Eloise took after her craft & would draw their memories & dreams. Eloise has lived in the forest and is forbidden to the monsters to attack,the same for Victor. Eloise has become feral effects of living in the wild. She may even see the other people exploring the forest but stays her safe distance to not be disturbed. Eloise may have gotten lost in the forest due to the trees moving like how Jim & Kenny getting lost the first time they went out there.

Everyone that roll up on the fallen tree, does so during day time. Sometimes, I feel the show is about us in regular life. Stuck in a place with people who you may not want to be around. When this series is over, I dont think anyone will escape the town. I think Boyd and the rest of the town, those who are still living will become the new "monsters" of the town. They will be a part of Fromville 2022. Boyd will be the new "Smiley". They are grooming him to become the lead monster to terrorize the next cycle of human sacrifices. The "cycle" theory keeps gaining ground. We see it with the "shared" experiences that characters are having with previous occupants of the town. Jade/Christopher....Tabitha/Miranda. I think the individual things we see each person going thru are all a part of the "cycle" and mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Victor is the wild card and the key to everything happening with the town. Also Tilly aint supposed to be there. She "found" the town whereas others were drawn to the town for whatever their part to play in the "cycle"

Am I the only one who thinks the person on the phone, "Thomas", might be connected to the same people who talked to Sara? Both have given them information about the future before it happen. Yeah she was not on second floor. But it is a pretty high raised front porch. She was not ground level. But yeah the monster was in the line of sight. But she really should have stoped shooting it was not working. But it was an exciting scene for sure.

I don't think he talks down to them, I think he just gets erked and can u blame him? Randell didn't actually give a great first impression. I do think that Randell can be an asshole but he is also not afraid to get his hands dirty. He could be valuable. I think when people say they are seeing things that nobody pays it much mind because that place does that to people. It's "trying to break them" that is the perception everyone has. I think that they should all have a daily meeting and everyone should share whatever they see or hear and anything new they discover. They should take these things more seriously now. Instead of thinking the place is just trying to break them, they should at least analyze what people are seeing and if it means anything.

Like what if they get out and climb over the tree and continue on down that road instead of detouring? Where does that road lead? Did anyone ever go down that road to see where it leads? we did learn from the EMT going to the monster that they don't have a pulse, so they are dead in a way? or can they stop their pulse? speaking of Randal with the talisman, he had it in his hand.... does that mean they lost 1? did the monsters take it, lost? what happened to that talisman since just holding it or having it laying around does nothing to them...will the monsters die or evaporate or something like vampires in the day light?
