I guess my comment was deleted. I figured anyway. Social media is all about praising people no matter what and if you rock that boat, you get your comment deleted or you can get blocked. That's fine. @tracyrobillard7431 I can't remember word for word lol but I basically was saying how you can't give advice to others when you aren't even applying the advice to your journey and if she is applying it, it's obvious she's not able to stick to it. It's time for her to admit that she has lost control and is flat out struggling. This has been the same song and dance for years now and no one should keep doing the same thing but expect different results. I would personally rather her address the elephant in the room and be honest with herself(weight gain, eating habits, etc.) rather than continuing to offer tips to others that she hasn't been able to stick to herself.

Jess, please go back to the video you just made this past May, titled, Do you really want weight loss or not? You asked your followers that question whilst stating the importance of not making excuses and how you finally figured it out. That was a mere 4 months ago. What is going on here? And, to the folks who jump on those who call you out claiming that it's your journey...No it's not. You made us a part of your journey by giving advice and asking your audience direct questions. Hey Jess, for several years I was on the same roller coaster ride. Keto, carnivore, excuses, self sabotage etc. Fad diet after fad diet. Eliminating food groups, cutting calories then bouncing around with losing and gaining. It’s really exhausting. Since June I’ve lost 22 pounds. I eat everything now, no cutting carbs, I eat what I want but in moderation. It’s so freeing!! I also went to my MD and had labs done, and also started a GLP- and GIP med to replace my hormone deficiency. I’d recommend going to your doctor and having that discussion. Sometimes wil power is not enough when it’s a cycle….it just may be a hormone deficiency. ❤ Wishing you the best.

@davidadcock33822 ай бұрын
@@barbarakaffel5688 I don't know how many post it would take me to share with you the secret to weight loss. I will share my background first and you decide if you want me to try to do it. In 2018 at age of 68 years old weighing 350 pounds I decided It was time to get this figured out. I had lost 50 to 90 pounds over and over and over for the last 45 years and but I could never keep it off for long. I was always a big muscular man at 6'3" tall. I had the boys turn a hospital bed tray stand around and put my laptop on it so I could be on the computer while sitting in my easy chair. I researched this subject and watched Thousands of hours of videos for 18 months for 4 hours or more a day. After three months I had pretty well figured it out and I went to my female doctor and told her what I was going to do to loose the weight. She was skeptical about it but agreed to do any blood test I wanted done every time I asked and I would weigh in her office every two months. She told me to be at a perfect weight for me I needed to weigh 230 pounds and loose 120 pounds. For the next two years I weighed in at her office every two months and never did I fail to have lost weight. The only time I weighed was in her office. Today I weigh every day. It took almost two years to loose the 120 pounds. Now 6 years later I have lost 134 pounds and weigh 216 pounds so I have kept the weight off even losing more for the last 4 years. This was not that hard to accomplish and I compare it to the time I quit smoking cigarettes 44 years ago. Without the knowledge I had learn this would have been an impossible struggle and I am saddened that I wasted my whole life being obese unnecessarily. ALL the weight loss places like Weight Watchers and others have it all wrong and thus almost 1000 percent of the people who use them never maintain their weight loss. Weight loss is Not about calories, Not about portion control and it not about exercise. I now know why some people will never have to worry about their weight and others will struggle with their weight. If you want me to try and explain how to loose weight and keep it off in several posts I will try to do so. I feel better today and have more energy at 74 years old than I did when I was 18 years old. Good Luck to you.

I have trouble finding the time for myself. Work is normally 2-8 pm, I have to cook and eat when I get home, also make dog food, clean up, and then I have 1 hour before bed to do some stuff before I go to sleep, finding the energy to do something for myself at that hour is so hard. I try and read a little, I try to take off the make-up, put together the next day, sometimes I just want to sit and watch General Hospital. I know I should do actual exercise but it never gets done. No energy. I get a lot of functional fitness at work and I am well built because of it. BUT I need to gain weight. I am working to gain 4 lb a month until the end of the year. I started my own program 2 weeks ago to do this. I am actually tracking my macros so I successfully eat the right amount to do this. It is so hard, just as hard to lose weight. Same mind issues too - thanks for the tips. Works for me too.

The only time I eat treats is to go to my mother-in-law's because she's a heck of a baker and that's the only time I eat that stuff that's my treat If I had a treat every single week or day I'd be dealing with the same thing I used to do with before I learned this is not a journey This is eating real food that your body knows what to do with.
