Journal Entry #2: It has been many days since I have written here. Oh, the rigours of the world! How I wish for a calm day. No, the world moves on regardless of my wants. Lord Lathrix of the Legion is a foe unlike any this world has seen, one who develops more crafts than any other nation does -- quite a feat, considering the development teams of said nations. He is brutal, unforgiving, and without a doubt utterly mad. For some ungodly reason, he has decided that he didn't have enough nuclear weaponry. The collision of that idea generated a horrific monster of the skies, a cutesy bugger until it gets close. Upon reaching an enemy craft it detonates and destroys all that is near. Meanwhile, the various factions of Neter continue to resist us. It is rather impressive, their stubbornness knows no bounds; our homeworld has nobody quite like them. Soon, though, we shall overcome them. That is, of course, assuming that Lathrix does not invade them first. Now that I think about it, my choice of words is rather amusing. I say, 'ungodly reason' where there is indeed a godly reason. Khorne, the great bloodletter, the spawner of a thousand evils, the brutal Blood God that possesses their leader. Our laboratories have studied what little the Legion has lost, and learned a great deal. Perhaps we may develop a weapon to annihilate him. Only time will tell, and time I am out of. Journal entry 17: Science is awesome as I was taught in elementary school. But do you know what kind of science is the best. Engineering. Especially drunk engineering. Its a phrase we, the Watch, often apply to our crazier builds: the Eyrie, the Bulwark, the Glaive, etc... Well it can apply to the Lathrixians, but their liquors are puny in comparison to what admirals take on their free time. Anyway, a new craft rose from the shipyards of the Blood Guard and in my opinion, have gotten Lathrixian spies to work at Normont, the homeland of the hated Steel Striders. I shall continue later.

That would sign the end of the White Flayers, and discourage anyone from even thinking of questioning Khorne. This would be the perfect time to ask them as to strike the Twin Guard and Steel Striders and cure the cancer that is the ennemies of the Watch. I suggest making the spawner keep a minimum of 2 drones. While the first is on the suicide run there is already a second one being build, so you have a continuous stream of nukes.

Lathrix make a variant of the blood thurster that is completely dedicated to spawning swarm fighters or nukes. Maybe with 20 vehicle spawners and 20 vehicles out at a time. Although I can imagine this being expensive since it'll constantly build things while in combat. But it would be so cool!

Yes, I loves it, we must have more fighters. Idea: carrier with several "docks" on each side and launches 4-6 small airships, including but limited to fighters (small jet engine planes with a small machine gun under each wing), bombers (small jet engine planes that drop mines), missile carriers (one or two missiles under each wing) and torpedo launchers (a single powerful torpedo under the belly of the airship)

Here's a challenge for you lathrix: Try a campaign but instead of building your own ships, you can build a starting ship, (upgrade it as much as you must throughout the campaign) but you have to capture the rest of your ships from the enemy. :)

You should build a very fast carrier submarine that goes really deep and directly underneath the bigger ships and once it gets there it spawns like 4 of the drones to destroy the underside of the large ship. ALSO! I request for the next major ship you create you make a rail-gun battleship :).

Avorion still needs a few more updates. The next update adds permanently loaded sectors, which makes stations and larger fleets more viable. It still needs improved large fleet AI, more challenging combat, better enemy ship designs, and some tweaks to the economy. Last time Lathrix played Avorion it quickly became a cakewalk (albeit a beautiful cakewalk IMO)

I had a similar idea a while back. I made a sub 600 cost prototype that basically just used a missile harpoon for movement and 2 nukes on heavy armor. Quite entertaining but definitely not as fast as your drones
