No but their overall record in rapid and blitz is closer than you might imagine. Magnus has the edge in rapid but they're even in blitz.

As about 1200 (online) I'm pretty sure I wouldn't win it against Magnus or any even a semicompetent player, but that's why I always try to play until the (usually) bitter end. Maybe with unlimited time, but definitely not in 3 minutes. Magnus would see if I fall into some elementary blundertrap and I most definitely would.

This should probably have been mentioned in the analysis, but at 0:55, you can't win a pawn by taking twice on d4 because Nxe4 and if the queen captures, you get skewered and it's bye-bye, queen.

Take with the knight to defend the queen. Then if MVL takes the knight with his knight, Carlsen would just take MVLs undefended queen with his queen because MVL taking the knight doesn't come with check anymore, so it doesn't work. I also wondered about it.

...Re2 Bxe2 Qxd4 Bxd4. The knight picks up the rook and defends his queen at the same time so MVL loses the rook. If ... Re2 Bxe2 Bxe2 Qxf6 and MVL loses a rook, the queen and his knight is trapped. So overall not a great move :)

Great Game MVL he’s a pretty smart player I know I wouldn’t have been able to figure out that not moving the Rook is ok and the pawn push works well since Magnus would have to sack his Rook to stop promotion Magnus making a couple miscues helped I’m sure Thanks Agadmator 😊♟️‼️
