The amount of blue that filtered out by products like this, and layers on prescription glasses, is minuscule. All operating systems, desktop and mobile, have night modes where they indeed lower the intensity of the blue pixels.

I wanted to hear about the non-financial cost of using this. Does it block blue light that you might actually want to see. Can you notice the difference and miss it? If not how does it block harmful blue light? Is there a tradeoff between blocking enough of the light that's harmful and allowing through enough the light that people want to see?

@@Moon_Presence What are you talking about? If you have RGB based color, and reduce the Blue part of RGB by software, the screen emits less blue light. That's how screens work. if the LCD screen is set to not display blue by software, it blocks the blue part of the light emitted by the backlight. That's just how color on screens work. Maybe in cheaper screens there's still some bleed through of some blue light, but most of the blue light is still blocked. And on OLED displays, if the Blue value of RGB is set to zero, there is zero blue light emitted at all. It's all only red or green. It's not magic, it's just how screens work

This was filmed early part of 2021 so covid was still around. You can see the acrylic plexiglass dividers between them, one just before the lift, and then one inside the lift. I didn't mind the restrictions for the most part, I could take them or leave them, but I have to admit this was a daft idea just to make it look good or something idk. They've probably had contact with eachother all morning, probably took the same car to the recording location, even shared the same greenroom, etc. But standing next to these dividers for 10 seconds is gonna do/prevent something??? 😂
