A helpful tip, a guy can cut little strips of sand paper whatever grit a guy prefers and super glue one end of the strip to a wore out little sanding drum then a guy can save on buying sanding drums. I usually do this all the time especially on the exhaust ports does a better job at smoothing the exhaust and faster then finger sanding to get that nice polished exhaust

When you grind a piston and it's 3 grams heavier than when you started. Modern life in a nutshell.

Put both pistons on the scale to check combined weight.

How much do you charge for pipes? 385xp,372xp and 395xp may want one for each. Thanks and keep up the good work. Karl

I know your not taking much off but I would weigh it grind one side, weigh it again then grind the other side or half. To keep it somewhat balanced. Again, it is likely minimal in difference but that's what I would do. Also would need a more accurate scale. Just my thoughts on the piston grind. Excited about the trenching of the cases. Also if you are going to delete the woodruff key where or how do you set the flywheel? For firing timing. Good stuff as always. TC Mahalo Tinman 🤙🤙🤙

Drilling holes in your Pistons will also considerably lower your case pressure

Hey Jake, you only drill them below the ring, and they are very small.

Theres no way u took a couple grams off, i ground the shet outa my piston and had a huge pile of material to lose 3 grams, i thined piston, thined the inside, cut materail under pin on bolth sides as far as i dare, and at end i couldnt believe it was just 3 grams
