So you don't need to bleed the brake fluid at all? Good to know.

Not if you don't open the system. Thanks for watching!

2CarPros Do I have to remove the brake fluid cap under the hood first?
@danieljackson17643 жыл бұрын
I just replaced my brakes and my car won’t move but we didn’t compress the brake cylinder. Would that be the reason?
@2carpros3 жыл бұрын
Yeah that could be the cause. You bolting it on with the cylinders sticking out further due to past brake wear with new pads now taking the space up. Take them back off and recess the cylinder. Thanks for watching!

Is there not a pressure release valve like on most cars break line ?

I take it no bleeding of the brakes, unless I take the calipers off? I am not a car expert. Just asking for a friend
@2carpros8 жыл бұрын
Always a good idea to bleed brakes after a job like this. Check the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWjKhqagZ9qmZrc

Well done. Good lighting and audio. No excess video or yacking. Background music could be lower, but all in all, great.

On my F150 the caliper pins have a hex head. Don't know why for the Escapes Ford engineers decided to go with a Torx. What is the size of the torx head for this one? 45? Thanks,
@2carpros8 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don't know why Torx is even used. It seems to me that every time I see a Torx they could have used a regular bolt or nut. Anyhow I don't remember what size the torx head is we recorded this over 3 years ago. Thank you for watching!
