I used this in folk style a lot and now use it all the time in jiu jitsu to lock up anaconda chokes or more often end up in mount if you step over at the right time. Got a few mounted guillotines in rolls setting it up like this.

I want to use it this year in folk but how would I do it? You can’t can’t any points from the move in folk and you can get a direct pin using the move?

@@KdaB79 Yea in my practice, once I sprawl I am in the perfect position for it. I stopped practicing it because I thought there was no point in doing it but I will continue practicing it now.

@@iamanonymous4270you can maintain the lock and spin on top while their on their back you just have to make sure you don’t let go of the lock and they don’t roll all the way through

North and South pin or in Judo is known as "Kami Shiho Gatame". That's a good pin for situations like in this videos. I've been use it

Freestyle is the only way gator rolls work we all should know for a fact you get a good wrestler they will never work in folk style

Mainly for freestyle. You have to half gator Roll in folk style to pin the man

Freestyle you can get 2 points for turn similar to leg lace gut wrench and all sorts of turns

Lol does not work if you don't remove the post on the side you're rolling to g, they end up in a top side north south, can't do just the head

disagree 100%... you go deep with both arms... then when you roll you lock up with th pin! omg! why can't i find a decent video of this ending in a pin... not just a roll!
