I don't think they would have. Dray is a completely unique type of forward, great passer, long wing-span making up for lack of height, strong; but it's his will and cerebral play that really makes him special (and makes his defence look like an artistic masterpiece). You heard him in the interview. Not only does he know the opposition's entire playbook, he also reads the players psychologically and adjusts his game appropriately. It was always about Dray's intangibles, you won't find another player like him and without him I don't think the Warriors would have been as dominate as they were. Just look at what happened on the games he missed!

@@mattycampy Draymond is one of the greatest players in NBA history. Look at 2016 when, through 4 games, the Warriors owned the Cavs, and Draymond gets suspended (BTW, complete bs), and that one game completely shifts destiny. The Warrior's had been absolutely gassing LeBron through sheer uptempo intensity. The entire rhythm of the matchup was dismantled by removing Draymond - who is the heart and soul of Warrior's pace. @@isitmeeTV no it had literally nothing to do with that. they both had the best offenses in the league. the difference was GS also had the #1 defense in the league, whereas the clips weren't even close. Another reason steph is so laughably overrated and draymond so underrated. The defense was exactly equal in winning those rings, something steph had literally nothing to do with. And again, those clippers teams were trash after their main 3, whereas the warriors were stacked from 1-9. Also coaching has never meant anything, your takes are those of a 7 year old, how incredibly boring. You need proof? how did phil jacksons knicks do? how is Pop doing without kawhi and duncan? how did luke walton do in sac after the warriors went 24-0 with him as head coach? It's because the public just thinks superstars only acknowledge other superstars because that's how the public thinks, but players respect talent, resilience, and balls, especially the degree of all three it takes to get to the league itself and be a highly productive player. Regardless of talking heads being like, oh he's not a lock down defender, he's only an OK player they all know the work it took to get there and outside of personal issues with each other, they'll usually always recognize that.

And those mind games is exactly why Blake never used to show up when we needed him. He always used to let players get him riled up and he’d go ghost or he’d end up hurt . Then cp would have to pick up the slack by himself and he’s get burnt out or hurt himself. Straight disaster waiting to happen every year.Happened every time we played the thunder, warriors, grizzlies, or Houston

There was a game during the 2015-2016 season where the warriors were on the road playing the clippers in november. Steph gets in early foul trouble, has to sit. Clippers build like a 20 point lead. Warriors go on to win the game. They shoot close to 70% during the fourth quarter. Both steph and klay shoot 50% for the game, and harrison barnes and draymond shoot an even higher percentage.

Draymond doesn’t just play the game he loves the game difference between him and a lot of other players. I know it’s a job to some but the old saying “you never go to work a day in life if your doing what you love” when that’s the approach makes winning a plus. I completely agree, bc I remembered when they'd be doing good & dunking on folks Blake, dj & all them you guys was chirping & talking. The minute adversity hit, they're pouting, complaining, & started playing scared. That's probably why him & cp3 clashed. It seemed back then they were just happy to be in LA catching lobs, but when it was time to lock in, they didn't want to. Now yrs later look at cp3 still playing at a MVP/all star level & the other two of the big 3 & looking washed & they're younger. Start to see, cp3 wasn't the problem.
