Bryan Taylor yes I agree, it seems humanity is incredibly vicious and mean. Also people have such different age, intelligence, education and experience that it is impossible to reach a consensus as to what the truth is or what is real, how we know what is, our logic and inferences, good, bad, right, wrong, how we should live and what we should do. There is so much misinformation, disinformation and the uninformed. And even if two people agree on the facts there are completely opposite reactions as to what those facts mean or how they should be interpreted. This seems quite prevalent in religion and politics. The American discourse in politics has become so divisive as each side has gone tribal backing onto their respective corners along with the weaponization of information that I am quite saddened and distraught. If Russia’s goal was to divide us further then their helping Trump win the election certainly has worked. However, it should be noted maybe American unity, outside of World War II or right after 9/11 is an illusion, in that America has always been divided: British and French fought over America in the mid 1700’s. The catholic Spanish laid claims to the west and Florida. The Africans were brought here as slaves. American slaughtered American in the Civil War of 1861-1865. Americans were loyal to England as others fought for independence in the American Revolution. The original Americans, the indigenous peoples and tribes of this continent were driven off their lands, their resources confiscated, their religions debunked. A small percentage enjoy extreme wealth while many many more toil in great poverty. Only recently have women been able to participate in the American Dream other than being subservient to men in a male dominated society. Red America think they are the true Americans and are in the right, Blue America think they are the true Americans and are in the right. Christians want the whole country to be Christian, others think outside of that box. But maybe there in lies the light at the end of the tunnel, the silver-lining: social and technological change creates great strife, but if we don’t kill ourselves off and let the cockroaches inherit the earth, there is Hope mankind can be more enlightened and more can participate in a happier healthier and longer life through all of this thesis antithesis fighting and strife as life does change and move into the modern era. There’s just going to be a lot of noise and contentious fighting along the way.

People!!! Congress IS the Legislative branch. It is one of 3 "branches of government" called Congress. Congress is made up of 2 "houses"...the House of Representatives and the House of the Senators. They are responsible for "making our laws." Only the House of Representatives has the power to "impeach" any sitting president, which is equivalent to a citizen being charged, NOT CONVICTED, with committing a crime. After "impeachment" or formally charged, by the House of Representatives, the POTUS has the right to be heard in trial. The trial, aka the House of Senators, decides if the POTUS is guilty of the charges made against him. This is why you'll hear President Clinton was impeached, yet not found guilty of impeachment.

@Scott Shields Mueller possibly decided to seal the indictment for "individual one" until he is out of office. Mueller goes by the book. Now it is up to congress to impeach, or the voting public to remove him in 2020. The Southern District of New York could be the one to indict him first. He wouldn't be able to pardon himself. Nor could he get a pardon via Pence a la Gerald Ford.

There are facts out there that are being ignored by a party and a media that picked a side a long time ago. They've been pushing for years and now they're making a big push. If you disagree with them it's high time to pick a side and start fighting back because soon there will be no chance of getting back on track. You are right though that it doesn't mean pro or anti trump. It can be pro self defense or pro defenselessness or pro free speech or pro censorship, pro life or pro killing babies. One last though. Liberal beliefs. A child can't decide about drinking, smoking, guns until 21. Not responsible for their own health insurance until 26 but should vote at 16. Should be able to have an abortion without parental consent at 16 but shouldn't be able to watch a movie about abortion without parental consent. Can't kill a convicted murderer rapist child molester or animal but can kill unborn baby.

Yeah that's a real good set-up you got going there. Be objective and openminded. Then you start smearing Trump while remaining pro-neutral on gov't decision making bureaucrats and influencers who make all the difference. All the while tainting Trump with perfunctory peons caught up in the schemata used to illegally spy on citizens. Including a candidate for President of the United States. Right. Of course, you want us to toss out our presuppostions so you can lord it over us with yours.
