Steve, your channel is proof fancy equipment is not necessary to produce valuable content.

Thanks for the video. This is something I personally struggle with given I hold to the 1689 2LBCF and so Im one that sees a bit of wiggle room with the RPW as you mentioned earlier in the video.

Have you ever read Fr Paul Castellano's book, As it is in Heaven? Great resource on Anglican liturgical worship.

Can I get an OT citation for, “bowing down in spirit?” I couldn't find that specifically, and that seems really powerful.

Loving the series. On the regulative principle I've always wondered why Paul's explicit directions about the gathering don't seem to be followed in "regulative principle churches", nor many churches at all from my experience: 1 Corinthians 14:26 NET _What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church_ Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious here. Sorry if I am.

Can you help me understand your comment a bit more? Are you asking the items in the verse are a manual for a liturgy or something else?

@@FrSteveMacias Sure! Thank you for following up Fr Steve. First of all let me sing the praises of the Liturgy. I come from a low-church baptist background of very loving and sincere believers, and from a purely pragmatic point of view, the BCP Lord's day liturgy and evening/morning prayer has had a tremoundousely beneficial effect on my family and I the last few years. It has really brought ( is bringing) so many things into better focus about the church and the Kingdom of God. For that, I'm grateful!! Since we rightly esteem the Apostle's teachings, when looking to the scriptures to discern what to do when we gather, are there good reasons to not do what it appears (on a plain reading) that he was telling the Corinthians to do? Paul's description of "orderly worship" seems quite abit different than a typical Lord's Day gathering. It seems a little like an organized free-for-all. Should some of what he's talking about be included today? ...not merely that, but at least that? Would this sort of thing maybe fit in "The Prayers of the People" section: "Additional petitions may be added. Thanksgivings may also be invited."? I concede this would become more unwieldy the more people that are gathered. Curious about your thoughts. Thanks, Joe F 1 Corinthians 14:26-32 ESV _What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. [27] If any speak in a tongue, let there be only two or at most three, and each in turn, and let someone interpret. [28] But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God. [29] Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. [30] If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent. [31] For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged, [32] and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets_

I always watch you. I'm drawn to you and now I know why. Your intelligence. I don't mean this in a homosexual sense, but admiration. I disagree with you on lots of things, but I like you. I prefer ancient Apostolic Christianity though. Keep being yourself sir. 👍💯

A good example of the NT concept of SKANDALON is to send an Anglo Catholic to attend a Sydney Anglican communion service at their cathedral and watch their reactions. How long you last in the "priesthood" is anybody's guess before you "transition" into more satisfyingly gainful employment.
