I use to subscribe to Steven Rosse ( with e) Chanel. However, I realized very quickly that he is the most narcissistic person who I met online. Don’t ever disagree with him because he will roasting right away. He very knowledgeable man well spoken, but don’t ever disagree with him.

OMG I can so relate!!! I have memories of Kata, Rawai and old Phuket city from 1976. Actually even Pattaya from 1968. Steve describes the comparison of having memories of a first love to being smacked by an ugly reality, absolutely spot on! I still love Thailand and accept it as it is and will most likely spend the rest of my life being here, but ah the memories…😊

So where do Steve Rosse addicts go for help? Like most sufferers, I got my first exposure to this amazing guy on Thairish times and the rest is history. Friday mornings are great, for about 25 minutes .... then comes the downer when you realise you gotta wait 7 days for another fix! I tried therapy, even put up a photo of Steve with the mantra ... "I hate you" x 1000 but it didn't work!

The very talented Steve Rosse warts and all. I really respect his honesty & that he doesn't attempt to obfuscate his own faults. I hope his obsessiveness does not bring about his downfall by falling foul of the Thai necessity to preserve "face". Having his visa revoked is thankfully unlikely but would be a catastrophic punishment for him at this stage of his life.

I’m a “Boomer” living in Thailand and enjoyed this interview. I remember visiting Phuket back in 1983 and it was gorgeous with a quiet, laid back vibe. I return with my wife and 5 year old 11 years later and could not believe how the small hotels and bungalows had been replaced with city blocks of tall hotels, souvenir shops, massage venues - changing into a tourist ghettos, My other two trips to Phuket ( 2005 & 2010) have only become less desirable with the traffic, high prices, and the obnoxious tuk-tuk drivers.I will never go back & visit. (Koh Chang & Koh Lak are now my island destinations)

Hey there Steve, hm, could u say that u were lured into making a choice heavily influenced by society when you married at the time? What about doing the unconventional choice to marry someone younger, or that girl that made u happy b4 u went back to the US? Or u think she still would have gotten tired of waiting for you even if u had married her b4 u went back...? Was there ever anyone else similar that you really loved?

Steve created his own nightmare, Your life is your responsibility, and problems come your way without creating them consciously, but the solutions to these problems are completely in your own hands. Most of these guys have such an inflated ego that they have a problem with objectivity towards themselves. Result: strong opinions about everybody and anything else but a messed up Life. Knowing oneself is a good start for change.

@@steverosse I meant it in the philosophical sense. Someone who "unfriends" you was never your friend. Your "friend" maybe, but not your friend. I'm British with French nationality, have lived in France (almost as close to the Med as you are to the Andaman Sea) since 1989 and did Arabic and German at university. I love your channel 👍❤️👍+1.
