Compared to 12.3.6 it looks like you're years ahead.

It's too bad being years ahead means cutting off semis and driving on the wrong side of the street. That's something I never had happen on 12.3.6.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying don’t buy that Tesla or purchase FSD. Just be careful, because it is going to do the dumbest thing at the worst time. Otherwise, for sure go for it and have fun! What I do love is how I can jump on the highway, and relax and let the car drive for me. It’s really good at highway driving, and being able to sit back, and monitor the car, and know it’s going to keep your lane for you and change lanes is a game changer. As for as city driving; it’s pretty cool how a car can drive you around town with little input from the driver, but I find myself driving manually more than letting FSD do city drives, mostly because of the dumb mistakes it makes.

@MyTeslaTrek Oh I already have a Y with FSD, but it's an old 2022 with HW3. 2,200 miles on the last trip and only had a few issues (missed double ramp exit), but she took the next ramp and righted itself. I use FSD to and from work everyday and most everywhere I go - and usually the biggest issue is I manually signal to make it get in the correct lanes. It's amazing how sometimes she's so incredibly smart and perfect... and then will go full stupid and do a full send from a stop sign in a residential area. @@MyTeslaTrek

@spampeg where did you take the road trip to? Do you car camp on road trips?
