Great show! Sad to here that Bomb3r will be on IR but praying you get well soon! I usually agree with Moen but he's missing the boat on this FSU/Clemson proposal. The thing that wasn't brought up are potential exit fees. Why would the teams left behind let 8 teams go to the P2 for free? Not only for free, but potentially accept less money over the next 5 years as part of the process? I think WSU/OSU showed the importance of being cashed out when you're left behind. The current proposal is probably DOA. FSU/Clemson will either have to accept unequal revenue or a shortened GOR. They're not going to get both.

Apparently you are unaware that there is ongoing litigation between the parties which represents risk to the ACC, who tried to keep it in a friendly home court and failed miserably. The ACC is faced with a choice of risking everything on favorable rulings in three courts or mitigating that risk by agreeing to a face-saving compromise. Your assertion that FSU/CU are in a weak position and will have to accept any offer is faulty. It would be a win-win for both parties if the ACC agreed to unequal revenue sharing AND a shorter termination date in exchange for all litigation to end. For FSU, it would represent an additional period to gain AAU and further burnish their academic credentials. And for the negative image to recede. Remember, university presidents usually serve for 5-6 years so by 2030 the majority of B1G schools will have a president who was not there during this period. All in all, I feel comfortable with FSU’s future. For the ACC, it would serve to delay the day of reckoning. In the 2030’s their chances of remaining a power conference are doubtful.

@@505premoto You sound like a parrot of every KZbin show covering this story. Lol! Apparently you don't know how the legal system works. If it's taken almost a year just to get this far in the court cases, then no matter the verdict, the other party can appeal. If the appeal is awarded then the process restarts. This whole 2-3 year timeline is a myth which is why FSU/Clemson is making this proposal. Again, there's no incentive for most of the ACC teams to accept this deal since things will be determined in 5 to 6 years regardless. About the P2, just stop. This is just moving of the goal posts and trying to reset expectations by FSU fans. All of that stuff you were talking over the summer about conference gurantees and early exits simply didn't come true. In 5 to 6 years Georgia Tech has a pathway to the B1G. I feel very comfortable about my team's future since we've been in the B1G for over 30 years. Lol!

The ACC schools that can make more in the Big 12 won't hang around long enough to make less for 6-12 years. At minimum, that sort of gross negligence would cost each school $50-100+ million. Leadership that intentionally loses that kind of chedder tends to get replaced real quick.

I love how Boomer and WildUte say that this is stupid for the ACC because they are signing their death.... But at the same time they say the alternative is the ACC dissolving now .. In other words confirming why the ACC would want to do this. Definitely B12 colored glasses....!
