Fuel Filter Replacement Acura Legend

This video shows you how to, remove and install a new fuel filter in your 86-95 model Acura Legend. The video cuts out right at the very end, but it shouldn't prevent you from being able to do the job. It's a pretty easy job to replace your fuel filter in this car.

Don't forget to add the brass washer back in under the fuel rail end before inserting the banjo bolt!

You forgot to install 2 copper washers on the second gas hose you install it back on in the video

well the washers are important if you're shooting a how to video. Also something about the torque specs; the reason I say is because I just changed mine, but because it wasn't tight and I didn't check it gas spewed out while I was driving and I lost a whole tank. Since there are no rubber gaskets, it must have been because I didn't tighten the bolt enough, which is like 139 lbs.

Thank you sir, this is the next thing I'm looking into after I try to repair my Trooper's window guide/track (I tend to hold on to older, "unique" vehicles instead of wisely upgrading to something common). Question; what is the troll referring to below with the copper washer? I didn't see you remove anything like that. I already bought the replacement filter and set it in the garage, and maybe auto zone sold it to me.. can't remember. Anyway would you believe Acura of Las Vegas had a guy tell me "there's no fuel filter on that model..." when I asked for them to check? I had to find out myself by purchasing a how-to book. I'm trying to systematically find out why my '95 coupe is stalling after about three to 5 days of driving. I may have to replace the fuel pump and other stuff... but i'm starting with the filter.

I have a 04 RL. My god it is difficult. I have rounded the bottom line (inlet) due to how hard it was put on.
