This is what makes being a 90's baby so worthwhile, we had killer music \m/ . I hear childhood calling again, all the twinkies, cookies and sin. \m/

the 90's were the last great decade of music. Like the 60's, and 70's where just about anything played on the radio was good. Not so much now.

The 80s were also awesome, and the early to mid-2000s also still produced some very good music. But since the late 2000s, and especially in the 2010s, the quality of mainstream music really went down the drain, with shitty edm crap eclipsing everything. One can only hope that the 2020s will change things around and make good music return.

"all that shimmers in this world is sure to fade"..... guess he was a prophet of 90's music..... R.I.P some of the best musical years we've seen. Hopefully it'll all come back full swing some day so we can create another piece of this perfection.

For some reason I can't let myself listen to current music. Anything made after 2000 just seems so souless. I just miss when music was about something and you had to think about it and figure out what the deeper meaning was (Lump by Presidents of the USA is a great example of this). Love me some 90s music :)

I met the group before they got famous when I was like 3 or something haha. My dad managed the media play that they first started performing at back in the 90s in the Harrisburg area. If you look on there Sunburn album, my dad (stewart rhodes, though they spelled his name wrong lol) is in there acknowledgements for helping to start there career :) my dad is such a dork, but that's pretty cool haha:)

I'm a rock musician, I'm in a band, I write the majority of the songs practically all of them. Fuel is one of my influences. I'm 25, and so many people I know r into rap and all that crud, and it's like what the heck, lol! But I like this song, I like fuel's style of music, more into 00's alternative rock, but I like this song they, I like a couple of songs by bush as well. Long live rock n' roll!!

Bringing back the good old days of the 1990s and early 2000s when there was still good, pure rock music in the charts. Why is no one capable of doing this kind of music nowadays? Everything, even so-called rock, is polluted with gay electronic crap now, one can only hope that one day good, hard rock will return, just like it did with the emergence of grunge in 1991.

saddest song i've ever heard... it reminds myself that unrequited love means knowing that you'll never have a chance with the person you have feelings for, and know it will stay that way forever... yet you still hope that it one day, will be false even though its dying hope, you still hope for that little sliver of that chance of being theirs, even if its just for a day, and you know that it will never, ever happen... :(

I lived in Seattle during the 90's, so there was a guilt in enjoying popular music via the grunge/indie snobs. I considered this a guilty pleasure. While it can be categorized as alternative/pop, it has a sweet melancholy element to it similar to Doves or Catherine Wheel.

@idloveadrink I'm 19 and I completely and utterly agree with you. I was bought up on 60's to 90's music. I was named after Sinead Oconner, her 'Nothing Compares' was a number one hit when I was born. I hate todays music. I don't think we'll ever get anthing close to this meaningful music again, All the producers want to to make the 12-18 year olds happy with there rap crap. What people sing about these days is making the majority of kids become brats.

Here's what Carl (Lead Singer) said about the song: Was the song shimmer about any one girl in particular??? Fuel_Carl: "Yes, it actually was. A girl I dated in college and I thought -- at one time we got close to getting married and then she married someone else. Then she called me two years later. It was weird. Two lives that are so interconnected -- then your worlds collide again...it's pretty intense."
