By the way (no hate) but the close up lense has a little mirror on the side for selfies so you can see your self, it helps a lot!

I wish stores sold the fun Disney, Hello Kitty, Marvel, etc. themed film packs, but I love the sticker frames you can buy to decorate the instax pictures. Fun tip you can use the leftover square part of the sticker frame to write a memory about the pic or something and just stick it on the backside, that way you can always look back and remember what that picture was about.

your boyfriend is so sweet for gifting you with all of that! :) can you put the colored lens on top of the selfie/mirror lens? i like that you suggested the stickers for borders instead of special film. saving money is the best haha

vanillaviviann yes he is :) That was a really good question! haha I've never tried it until you asked and I don't think you can actually :/ After a while using it though you get used to taking selfies without the reflection lens so color things can still be useful.

my bf got me the blue one too. the first picture I took was of my dogs and it came out dark but I had it on the indoor setting because I was indoors then I started playing around with it and put it on hi key and it came out much better the next time

Hello.. Thank you for your helpful review.. I am about to buy an instax camera either mini 8 or mini 90.. I did research about both and I have a good knowledge about their features!! the only problem that confuses me is the PRICE!! the price for the instax mini 8 is so perfect and affordable whereas I find the price of the mini 90 very expensive and much less affordable ( BUT I am really in love with the new and extra features of min 90 especially controlling the flash).. So I want you guys to help me to decide which camera I should go for? please consider that I am not a photographer or something I am just interested in instax just for fun and to collect memories!! Also, i have two questions regarding the mini 8, how often does it require to change batteries? I mean how constant you change batteries? and does the flash negatively effect the quality of photo sometimes ? or it does not bother at all?

I think you should buy the instax mini 8 or 8+. The 8+ has a mirror beside the lens to take a selfie. I got the 8+ mint. The flash, it bothers you if you take a pic near what you're taking Hope this helps ya 😊

Fatma Ahmed i have the grape coloured one and i put a grape coloured bandaid that looked like a sticker over the flash when i want to cancel out the flash. Works perfectly!

Fatima Butt I accidentally did that once and closed it right away. Idk if it was because not much light got in, but only the first film was bad. The rest were fine. You should take some pictures and let me know what happens haha

Its not a close up lens its a selfie lens thats why it has a little mirror at the top to see yourself while taking a selfie :)

I'm going on vacation in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone knows if you have to hold the picture while it develops or if you could just put it into your bag or something right after you take it. Does it affect the picture and the way it develops if you do?

Alexa A It's best to allow some light in the film but it really doesn't take that long. I would suggest waiting just a few seconds before putting it away. It should develop correctly.

Sarah Moloney the blue seems a tiny bit more dull than the pink but i like the blue in getting the blue but in my opinion the pink is honestly prettier but the blue will match my room and the shelf i will be displaying it on
