Thank you sir, finally brave enough to do bearing change on my fulcrum. i notice once i place back the rear hub, i cant hear any sound anymore from the hub. is there something that i miss?

In my own experience with the non disc version of these wheels, the bearings in the freehub go bad after a very short time. I got just over a year out of them originally from new and then when I replaced them, with a decent brand, they only lasted a few months and went again. There doesn't appear to be any seal on the outside of the freehub so the only thing that stops water and dirt is the seal on the bearing itself. Seems to be a bad design. Have now my third set of bearings in there so we'll see how long they last this time. Maybe you should do a video on replacing the freehub bearings as they are trickier to replace and seem wear out a lot sooner.

Agreed gone through 3 sets of hub bearings in a year. Worst wheels I’ve ever had for bearing wear. Always good videos these tho 👍🏻

SKF , NSK or NTN are all good brands to use for bearings!!

Thanks for the video! I have the Racing 6 DB and I had to replace the bearing in the front wheel after 1 years of light use... I wanted to buy SKF in a regular bearing shop, but I found that the bearing in the wheel is not an ordinary size. So at the end I had to go to Fulcrum dealer and had to buy the 'factory' one...

How do u know if your bearings have gone bad?

Take the wheel off the bike and remove the quick release spindle. Hold the wheel vertically by the ends of the axle and spin the wheel, if you feel any grinding the bearing has worn.
