Except the mets are not exactly a cheap team either. Also, dodgers are not going to lose this series. Their offense is too consistently good. All the dodgers need to do is get one more game with good pitching/defense, and they've shown they can do that quite well against the mets.

I knew the moment people started writing off the Mets something like this would happen because it's exactly what happened to the Dodgers. Padres were just one win away, people wrote them off, and they came back to win. It's never over until it's over and I know for a fact both teams have a fire under them after this game. the difference being that the Dodgers had the deciding game 5 at home against the Padres, while the Mets have to win two road games against the Dodgers.

At least the Mets for now broke their mini-postseason-curse of getting eliminated in the postseason at home since 2000. This is assuming that they lose this NLCS in game 6 or 7 The curse can still remain if they win this NLCS but lose the World Series in either game 4 or 5
