I’m excited to see which lords emerge as Col’s nemeses! Perhaps Ruwa’s insufferable, humiliated ex-husband will obsess over a vendetta. The Imperial lord that lost Danustica to Wazu decades ago undoubtedly wants their city back, eager to test Col’s siege defense skills. And when Col finally forms his own kingdom, the warmongering Ghuzid won’t take the betrayal lying down; Ghuzid’s camaraderie with Wazu will stir deep inner turmoil. There’s so much potential for roleplaying, and I know you’ll craft an epic narrative!!

Happy new year my man! Been loving the content. When you're sorting through troops / prisoners, above where all the troops are there's a little dropdown menu you can use to sort by tier. Just like you do for your own troops. I've always done this and it makes sorting through troops much easier imo. Got notifications on just waiting for the next episode to drop.

Happy New Year! Wow, back-to-back-to-back (to back?) episodes. I didn't have a chance to comment on the last episode and this one dropped. Thanks! Some real nail-biters, but it looks like the tide is turning. And what an awesome game! If you play from about 38:35 and look over shoulder as you win, one of the soldiers drops to his knees in celebration. I don't think I've ever seen or noticed that before. We've certainly had some knee-dropping, praying to Allah/whoever that we won in this campaign. I don't recall having so many tight battles even in my death-match campaign. It's been great, and stoked you fellas are enjoying it.

I know it's the wrong side of the world, but this reminds me of Alfred's war against the Great Heathen Army. Taking power after the death of a beloved sibling, using every trick in the book to compensate for lower quality soldiers, and just Alfred being the only guy holding England together.

The main thing I enjoy about smithing is making a twohanded sword that can also be a one handed to save you a slot for a second javelin.

Bloc just 5 days ago released a mod called complex characters. The lords now will have memories of your past deeds. He said theres 1000 new lines they can say to you.

I havent found a way to prevent companions from donating troops to garrisons but what I do is before I start the battle I talk to my companions and take all their troops, that way after the battle I have control over all of my soldiers and prisoners. And you are able to leave the castle without troops abandoning your party as long as you stay paused, where you can give the troops back to your companions.

Could someone help me, please. How do I change the troop "visibility" when giving an order? I can't see the little banners, unless they're right next to me. EG: 5:30 you can see the solid green HARD TO MISS dots. PS, great video as always.

In last update, now in Decembar, with patch 1.12.2. is fixed this bug when Companions donate troops to garisson. Also few other crashes are fixed. But there is huge problem if you update on new version,the all mods will be crash. I was need reinstall all,and also reinstall MODs. In my game,i was crash and i was need start all from new. The moders was also make updates on Harmony and ButterLib,so if you uodate Vanila,you need reinstal all. With save game,gane crash. But this is only case at my game,maybe you will not get problems as i was get. Another great episode,really can't wait when own kingdom will be start😅 Happy New Year to Everyone, lot of health and love. Long live Col the Butcher🎉😂

I once recruited a companion who was in their 40s and like 5 days later he dropped dead wasting my money and equipment. I was like breh i just recruited u. I also fought against like 2k vlandians on the map by the beach with that cliff and chokepoint and my army was like near dead. I only had like 200 troops with obly 80 deployed since max troop was like 300-400. Killed a huge chunk of the army and could have won if my reinforcenent location was closer to the ledge and not 500m away. The losses at the time was like 30 to 500 and I am glad i had like 10 2 handed companions with custom swords and custom javs cuz i only had like 20 archers 1 of em being a companion.

Happy new year! just a thought, but the battlesize mod might have the unintended concequence of throwing you in with AI allies all the time, specifically the garrison, since it throws everything on the battlefield at once, thus throwing you right into the battle and not into the prebattle screen. Thats my guess as to what happens, since ive never seen that many battles when you just get thrown in there. I think when you have just your gathering of armies you should be fine, but as soon as the sallyout action happens it screws it up. And i think normally the garrison troops would be too low level to enter the field right away, so thats why you dont see it so often without that mod. A theory anyway, don't have any evidence for this.

I understand there's a large amount of Roleplaying involved in this, but the reason you're not on the list for any fiefs is probably that the Aserai have clans with less/no fiefs. Which is also the reason they can't field more armies and upgrade troops very high. I'm betting a lot of the clans in the kingdom tab are probably poor or very poor.

@HeadlessHorsemanProductions yeah dpi is kinda like your built in mouse sensitivity separate from your windows sensitivity. Not a huge deal just means you'll have to get comfortable with a higher or lower sensitivity when changing to new mouse. Mouse acceleration on the other hand is a windows mouse setting which makes your mouse sensitivity speed up the faster you move it. It's common for gamers to turn this setting off as when you aim with anything (throwing weapons, bows) it will make little adjustments and flicks more consistent. Hope that makes sense

Hi; this is kind of cavalry force which you face in rbm+custom tree. If the NPC or unit has that perk allowing multiple hits with couched lance a charge is properly devastating (at it should be I usually make it even more deadly increasing charge damage bonus) but also spearmen are (which makes cheap and low level units shine on the battlefield so it is not just "who has the best units wins", and the whole 'this is tier 5 unit i's better than ter 3 unit' talk is obsolete, even best unit can be countered by low tier properly put and used - that's why I love custom troop trees - vanilla units are messy, unrealistic and not interesting. You have all these manliavetons and legionairies (and so on) but in, for example, Re De Militari the best and ultimate answer for vlandian mass charge is tier 1 and 2 battanian militia pikemen (what a surprise, right? getting into 'lore' it is something you would expect from them instead stupid mass of wildlings and stuff). The best sturgian shock and line infantry cannot easily walk on low level spearmen either, archers are powerful but heavily armored units (which are rare and costly but really acts like medieval tanks as they should) can just soak that etc. Rbm with is emphasis on armor truly shine if you get one of custom trees along with it, otherwse (with vanilla troops) is not so great grind. Keep the shield - it saved his life numerous times just being on his back - it's good to be a turtle. I know you are axe-lover ;) but he would be much more effective with the rhompaia in vanilla (glaive is too long and slow to be effective universal weapon) At the end of that 2nd battle I would just dial back up to the hill - that would force archers to come closer and then it would be f1-f3 situation even with peasants. How could you threat Megethia that way, she is one of the nicest npc in this pretentious pack :D You should take Tamnuh castle on the way south. Tere is nothing like the 'area of control in the game but Aserai need villages as air. Mentioned 'better autoresolve' (and 'equip the best' and 'sell all until zero' asap) would ease your life a bit. All these mods are inconsequential for the savegames' integrity (can be enabled/disabled at any time). His axe is strangely ineffective agains shields. IIRC in vanilla after getting proper line of perks, good weapon and skill shields are gone in one hit most of the time, almost like with that javelin perk. Best for the New Year. Thanks for fun.

In vanilla you can't make your clanarmy dump troops! But if you really need just stop when you enter a fief and take all the troops for yourself! And when you step out give them back! Yeah it's a pain and alot of micromanage! 🤬

a hand written letter from col to the king of the vlandians: peace be upon he who accepts the message all praises to god either you convert or you pay taxes or WAR! and i swear by the name of god that i bring you men who love death just like you love life …… a letter inspired by his bloodlines great commander khalid bin walid. This message was sent after Col’s first letter demanding that the Vlandians pay taxes. Instead, they chose to kill the messenger and sent his head back to Danustica via a merchant. Enraged by their act, Col killed the merchant and all the Vlandian captives, swearing revenge-not for the messenger’s death but for the dishonorable act itself. This is not surprising, as Col is known for his ruthlessness, sometimes even killing his own troops, let alone a mere messenger by the way i am not allowed to be a part of christmas and the new year celebration but for all the christian brother happy new year🎉
