a tip for blowdrying your hair when ur silk pressing is to point the attachment downwards (towards your hair like you were doing with the double sided brush) thats how you get a smooth blowout.

@@lisamedla > why, did it give you bad results? I can’t wrap my hair at ALL, & this looked like it could be an alternative (I tried another method - essentially this, but without the pantyhose. You part your hair in the middle & pin to each side - but it didn’t work for me. So I just pin curl it). But if it doesn’t work, lemme know so I can save myself the time & disappointment lol

I'm impressed that there wasn't a dent the next day at the part where the hair was folded in that wrap. Definitely a great hack. Thanks for demonstrating the entire process.

A better method to prevent the dent is to wrap the hair in the opposite direction. For example, the left hair piece crosses to the right and the right hair piece crosses to the left. Then you can tie the hair in the front without there being a bend.

The stocking cap is a classic way to put your hair in The stocking cap 😅❤❤ back in the 80’s and it could went back in the 60’s as well I think I going to used this method again is interesting how the old techniques are coming back out.. Oh and I am also a 70’s baby I should know lol

I have one and I’m telling you, it’s worth it! Saved up for it, bought it on sale and never looked back. I told myself there are 3 things it has to do to make it worth the money: it has to dry my hair well enough that I can get a great silk press, it has to blow dry my hair well enough to prep it to be braided (since I get protective styles fairly often), and it has to dry my twists/braid outs for twist outs. Does all those things perfectly 💯

Your hair is beautiful. The RevAir will cut your blow-drying time down to about 20 minutes. I'm a Tymo fan also. I own several of their products, but nothing will replace my RevAir for blow-drying. It'as worthwhile investment.
