Fun fact about Reiki is that it doesn't matter distance! If you find a practitioner that you like, you can do virtual sessions! Energy can be influenced from great distances (butterfly effect and all that), what matters is the intention, the only thing you would miss out on is the actual physicality from the practitioner.
