This pilates workout is an adaptation of pilates mat and pilates reformer exercises to challenge you, strengthen your core and give you a flavour of what pilates can do for you. Challenging, fun and a really good full body workout. I hope you enjoy the challenge!

Hi, in a previous video Rachel mentioned that her band was a medium weight and 1.3 metres long.I got mine in a set of three

Hi Nicola, I am using a 2 metre band on this one as there is quite a lot of leg work and I have long legs so it's better for me. The 1.3 should work for most of it depending on your height, arm and leg length. If not this is the one I am using in the video:amzn.to/3YNbyJR It's very cheap at £6 so good to have anyway. Enjoy the session!

Yes glad to do the half roll down. In the last leg exercise I could not bend my arm. My bands have the same size but some are lighter in texture. I got the hard one. Thanks❤😅😊🎉🎉🎉

I bought resistance bands this weekend specifically for this. I was not disappointed. It's great the way you use inexpensive equipment to mimic The Reformer. 💠

oo that was great, and some new exercises had never done, quite challenging. I did your arm workout with the chair first followed by this. I have a very tight right hip. As I laid on my side i felt it. Ouch, needs work. It felt great to be moving again with your pilates thank you

Hi Rachel, thanks so much for this routine I absolutely love it! The exercise I really struggle with (and always have done) is the 100 because it really doesn't work for my neck - could you point me towards a video that could help strengthen my neck/tackle whatever the problem is here? Wow, not my comfort zone with the multi-step moves; I know we’re trying to replicate the reformer moves, but I used my lightest band and struggled to get in position, copy your moves, felt shoulder and neck pulls and a bit of pain! I even lost my grip, band snapped away at one point, luckily not in my face🥴🥴😬I appreciate your inventiveness, but will stick to other band videos, where I can control the band better😂 Have a lovely weekend!😊❤

First time I've used a resistance band. My main issue is the hand position of actually holding the band hurts my hands :( I guess I'll get used to it over time. I have inflammatory arthritis in my hands and feet.

Hi Katrina, lovely to hear from you and yes, I can understand that is an issue for you. If it gets too painful do take a break from using the band. We don't want you in pain so much better to ease off if it's too intense for your hands, or have a little break, keep doing the exercises without the band and then pick the band up again when the pain has eased.
