In this video I go through the full process on how to take the Warhammer 40k Ork Rukkatrukk Squigbuggy, Plastic Model kit by Games Workshop, from its painted stage to building a diorama around it. I scratch build and paint a 40k Ork terrain building piece "The sign". I paint a few components Meks Workshop Game Workshop plastic model kit. and paint a few of the remaining miniatures the Orks, Gretching and Squigs. I place all these parts on a base of cheap Polystyrene and balsa wood, cover it with sand and give it a paint. I hope you enjoy!

What is the milky liquid you are spreading around the almost completed diorama at 47:30?

It’s watered down PVA glue with a drop of washing up liquid. I’m using it to seal all of the extra sand on.

Awesome. Could this technique be used for a pretty extensive base? I know usually we just layer glue and apply a solid, but I can see this being used for layering on a larger mini base, to build up a scene.
