Hi Claire, thank you for sharing this video it was super helpful. I am very impressed with your resin results. Mine ALWAYS have a not so perfect edge which kind of puts me off using resin. I do scrape the bottom super regularly too but somehow always end up with thiner edges. If you have any other tips on how I can acheive such a result, i am keen to know. Thank you 💕

I sometimes have to do 2 coats so the edges cover better, I try to make sure the first coat is thicker which seems to help x

Hiya Claire great video and tutorial and they look beautiful. Q i'm in Scotland and I've tried about 3 or 4 different types of epoxy resin but not exactly happy with them, I'm finding it hard to get a nice glossy/glass like finish on them sometimes they are kind of rubbery feeling, or bubbles or what I call tide marks? Any advice? 👏💜🌈

I think rubbery means it hasnt cured properly, I had this to start with when I ordered the wrong resin, the deeper the resin the better it cures so because coasters only use a very thin layer it needs to be one that is meant to cure in a thin layer, if you look on the vuba website it lists different resins for different curing thicknesses, I now use cascade x

When I applied my resin after they dried the resin appeared to run off the edges! Any suggestions? the rest of the coasters looked fab! Your video's are soooo good! Thank you!

8 commissioned coasters I sell for £50 but if not commissioned maybe £40, I wouldn't want to sell for less than £5 per coaster x

You mentioned the brand you use for the resin, but then you mentioned hardener. Does the hardener come *with* the resin or does it need to be ordered separately? If the latter, which brand and type did you use?

You buy them together but they come in two separate bottles, I use vista resin x

Did you have to mix your paints with anything (a medium), to prepare them for pouring. Someone mentioned that today and it was the first time I'd heard that mentioned to make a paint suitable for pouring.

Yes I used to use flood floetrol but now use pva glue and water x
