The same thing is happening to ex-president #45 who has now been convicted of 34 felonies and has also been found guilty of rape in civil court and has been fined 85 million for defaming E Jean Carrol, the rape victim. He has also been fined over a half a billion dollars for cheating on his NY taxes and for lying to lenders about his income. He is facing many more trials.

Judge Aileen Cannon and SCOTUS justices Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh, Roberts, and Conney-Barrett, should take lessons from this judge. Their blatant corruption in protection of one man demonstrates the danger our democracy is in. They sold their soul to the devil MAGA cult leader. We need judges like this who stand up for the rule of law, not people who are brought before it.

@@1234singingismylife Stealing millions from the Fire Department to buy expensive clothes and thinking he’s above the law due to being in a high position, Judge Medlock has good reason. I’m sure he’s disheartened how many people who should hold themselves with higher standards are disappointing him. As he said in so many words, people are working hard to support their families. The crazy thing is I’ve met many people who live luxuriously and they don’t seem especially skilled. And I have so much respect for what he handed down. He acknowledged all of us who work paycheck to paycheck trying to survive, but who don't thieve and rob, follow the law, respect authority, pay their taxes, and are decent citizens. @sped6954
@sped6954 7 ай бұрын
@@hoptoit5910 Normally, that would be the case here too. My thought on that is that he knew that the gravy train would end at some point, so he probably paid this attorney a retainer of, and this is just an example, but just suppose he paid him a retainer of $1,000,000 five years ago with the understanding that when he calls needing help, this attorney was to drop what he's doing and represent him. The one thing certain is that they only have access to a predetermined nominal amount of money for reasonable living expenses. Everything has been frozen and they don't have access to any of the toys or properties, and that is so they don't have any chances to liquidate and turn everything into cash.

@DJPLAST2
@DJPLAST2 7 ай бұрын
Person to person, I don’t know you but 1 question. Is this happening where you live also? Have you looked into it? That is where the oversight starts. Have you asked? This is not an attack, just asking. If you answer “NO”, it could be happening.
@JayBizBrewCity
@JayBizBrewCity 7 ай бұрын
@@DJPLAST2 Okay but - if I had any say on how things were ran there would be a minimum of 3 eyes in the financial books at all times, just seems logical. How does one person have the autonomy to spend millions and no one else noticed. It’s an honest question. To your point - no I haven’t asked if this is going on by me - but there should be processes in place to oversee that money regardless - it’s not like it’s just $10 out of petty cash..
@DJPLAST2
@DJPLAST2 7 ай бұрын
@@JayBizBrewCity I agree 100%. We can’t control Washington DC, we all “know” that something is going on we have no idea how bad it is. We have better eyes on our local area. Who is making big purchases, who is living beyond their means. Yes I agree there should always be multiple checks and balances on all money being spent as well as money coming in. Is that in place in your local area, that can be asked thru public records request. I hope you are not feeling a target, not what I am trying to do, just pointing out it’s much easier to check on local government. It can even get uncomfortable if you know workers in these positions. Business is business, friendship is something else. Where I live a guy that worked at the public works department built an entire house. He got caught because a tractor he “borrowed” from the city broke down and he could not get it back to the city yard. When he went under the microscope, it was found he had bought lumber, windows, doors, wiring etc over time no one caught it in the finance dept., they all looked legit for the public works dept. Until it was pointed out what was being looked for. It happens. Needs to be looked at by multiple eyes. This situation I am hearing there will probably be around 30 people going to go down over this. Meaning they are ripping the tax payers off too.

I admire this judge, and he's right in saying what needs to be done to restore the faith with the citizens there. Unfortunately im afraid that there is much much more of this type of stuff happening where people are abusing there positions and stealing funds from taxpayers. And this is a great start with catching this man. He should be given the maximum sentence the law allows the state needs to make an example out of him and keep going strong with putting all those away who are committing similar crimes. A clear message has to be sent to show others that this will not be tolerated and put a end to these crimes. It is sickening because as the judge stated most American citizens are working hard earning our own money many whom are struggling all while some people like this man who was a high ranking police official and supposedly worked for volunteer fire department to use and abuse the system to fund his luxury life style. I can't imagine just how hurt and angry the citizens of that town are. I hope and pray that this judge continues to do the right thing for this community.

Can we all just imagine if someone like "you" or "me" were ONLY facing 31+ felonies....Yet, only given 60 days in, AND now given a bond?! How much more money, stolen items, credit cards, stolen cars etc etc etc does he/they ALL still have hidden??! Mark my word: He WILL bond out, IF given lengthy sentence.
@timekiller6163
@timekiller6163 7 ай бұрын
Well you can't bond out once sentenced. Bond is a presentence condition. This man is going to Prison. He may bond out until his sentencing date but once he's sentenced he has to serve his time. And he will. If it were just a Credit Card or something he'd maybe not go to prison. But Planes Trains Automobiles 3 Mansions etc. Just his new Charges in this video were over Half a Million dollars. He's going to Prison

Ms. Peters had absolutely no legal standing when she started screaming out in court. Her actions should have gotten her a stern reprimand. Some judges might have given her a contempt of court. She's making this a kangaroo court. Completely unprofessional and unethical.

Wife, daughter, everyone involved deserves prison. He’ll be out before he’s 65. I don’t think that’s justice, but I can appreciate the sentencing Judge being bound statutorily to sentencing guidelines. He’ll say his family weren’t aware, and he did, but that’s hogwash.

@@bethstallings8016 To be a “Good” cop they would need the integrity to stop and arrest a fellow officer when they violate a citizen’s rights. Even if they don’t commit the act, doing nothing is just as evil. So, no I don’t know any good cops.

@@bethstallings8016that's not how it works with regards to policing. His post explains that a "good cop" would need to do something, stand up against a fellow officer whenever a "bad cop" is acting unlawfully. It could go without saying, obviously. but that never happens. That makes a good one just as unsatisfactory or worse than the bad cops.
