@@DJPLAST2 Okay but - if I had any say on how things were ran there would be a minimum of 3 eyes in the financial books at all times, just seems logical. How does one person have the autonomy to spend millions and no one else noticed. It’s an honest question. To your point - no I haven’t asked if this is going on by me - but there should be processes in place to oversee that money regardless - it’s not like it’s just $10 out of petty cash..
@DJPLAST27 ай бұрын
@@JayBizBrewCity I agree 100%. We can’t control Washington DC, we all “know” that something is going on we have no idea how bad it is. We have better eyes on our local area. Who is making big purchases, who is living beyond their means. Yes I agree there should always be multiple checks and balances on all money being spent as well as money coming in. Is that in place in your local area, that can be asked thru public records request. I hope you are not feeling a target, not what I am trying to do, just pointing out it’s much easier to check on local government. It can even get uncomfortable if you know workers in these positions. Business is business, friendship is something else. Where I live a guy that worked at the public works department built an entire house. He got caught because a tractor he “borrowed” from the city broke down and he could not get it back to the city yard. When he went under the microscope, it was found he had bought lumber, windows, doors, wiring etc over time no one caught it in the finance dept., they all looked legit for the public works dept. Until it was pointed out what was being looked for. It happens. Needs to be looked at by multiple eyes. This situation I am hearing there will probably be around 30 people going to go down over this. A clear message has to be sent to show others that this will not be tolerated and put a end to these crimes. It is sickening because as the judge stated most American citizens are working hard earning our own money many whom are struggling all while some people like this man who was a high ranking police official and supposedly worked for volunteer fire department to use and abuse the system to fund his luxury life style. @@bethstallings8016 To be a “Good” cop they would need the integrity to stop and arrest a fellow officer when they violate a citizen’s rights. Even if they don’t commit the act, doing nothing is just as evil. So, no I don’t know any good cops.

@@bethstallings8016that's not how it works with regards to policing. His post explains that a "good cop" would need to do something, stand up against a fellow officer whenever a "bad cop" is acting unlawfully. It could go without saying, obviously. but that never happens. That makes a good one just as unsatisfactory or worse than the bad cops.

@@bethstallings8016 Your comment reads like it was written by a grammar school drop out. Just because you watch cop videos, doesn’t mean they’re good. Unless they have the integrity to stop and arrest a fellow officer who is violating a citizen, they can never be called good. You should proofread your comments before you hit send.
