I started to eat healthier got the body I wanted and I told myself I didn’t but I developed an eating disorder. I started eating only things I considered healthy and not even in healthy amounts. I recently told my mom and the struggles I had with the scale and today I ate rice and dessert. I thought about it a lot but you have helped me in so many ways I so thank you.💙

So proud. I can relate to hard and difficult this is but the freedom once you’ve don’t it is sooo worth it! My therapist has said to enjoy the process of discovering new foods and tastes. Definitely hard to do but something to remind yourself perhaps. But yes we are so lucky to be able to have access to all types of foods and to have bodies that work and can use that food to keep us alive and to live💓

Oh Miranda I literally love everything about this video. I love that in the beginning you clearly point out a trigger warning, that you challenged yourself with absolutely yummy food, that you explained us how you changed your mindset in order to be able to accept the challenges (telling yourself that it is great to have 2 Donuts for breakfast), that your are always honest to us, for example by stating that the Starbucks Venti was nice indeed but in the beginning also scared you, that you always remind us viewers that food is fuel not our enemy ❤️. Hi! This video was super inspiring and I'm cheering your recovery on 💖 I don't really have anyone to tell so I thought I'd say that today I ate a Lindt chocolate ball without getting triggered! I know this isn't a big thing but whenever I have chocolate (especially chocolate I really enjoy) I always get triggered to binge :( Today I faced that fear and ate it without binging after! This video really helped me remember that food isn't something that should be feared and eating something I'm scared of doesn't mean I should binge. Thank you so much

Sorry to write so many comments but I remembered another fear of mine. This isn't a specific food but eating more then I expected. So like, lets say I was going to have a sandwich for lunch and then after a friend wants to share a snack with me. That snack, no matter what it is, will be 10x scarier then if I knew I was going to have it. I don't know why I'm so scared of that but I think it has to do with control and knowing what I'm going to eat.

hi love ! my favourite tip is to treat your body like a kid. you wouldn’t deny a kid food. acknowledge the hurt you have caused it and allow it to eat/get energy and be kind to it, it loves you so much !! xx

Oml you're so gorgeous❤ btw I'm on this really strict diet and I know that it physically has health benefits but honestly I'm not sure if it's doing great things for me mentally. I gained some weight on vacation and my parents recommended their diet to me so I can lose the weight back, and it's working, but it's making my fear foods worse to be honest. Also I'm kinda scared that I will go too far and lose too much weight. I don't think the diet is bad, I'm just afraid that I will go too far with it, you know?

I am going to start recovery after my last exam tomorrow and I feel so pathetic to say this but honestly the first fear food I am going to have to face is 🥺 peanut butter!! 🥜 I actually haven’t had peanut butter in three whole years. How do you get over the fear that certain foods are bad I have orthorexia so I can’t over the fear of added sugar, chemicals extra?

because I’m studying to be a nutritionist, i am aware of the “added sugar and chemical” side of food, however balance is extremely emphasized in my program and in my life !! knowing what makes me feel good and allowing myself to have foods that include those weird ingredients is what makes me happy and my whole priority is my recovery :)

Stop complementing her flesh. She is beautiful and we all are but the thing that makes her herself and value is what we need to complement. I'm guilty of telling her she's beautiful. Do you always eat gluten free? I always thought oat milk is gluten as well 😨

always !! and some oats contain gluten simply because of how they’re milled or processed / oats themselves don’t have gluten so most oat milks are gluten free xx
