It’s interesting to see the different approaches on eating. I am German and follow David Hoffmann, he just cooks almost everything (meat, rice, vegetables) in the morning and puts it in boxes. Chris on the other hand makes sure that his meals taste good and mixes things up a lot (at least that’s how I see it).

4:00 - If you haven’t tried it already, see if you can get some Kala Namak black salt. It has a sulfurous aroma which sounds gross by itself, but it lends foods a more eggy flavor.
@BK-vz3mx5 жыл бұрын
Tofu scrambled tip. Mash the tofu up, add turmeric and black salt(egg smell). Fry it up a little to get all mixed and add a few dashes of oat milk to give it some moisture and consistency of scrambled eggs. Depending on how "wet" you want your scramble to be depends on how long you cook it.

If you get in the right amount of protein for your body weight, then hit your goal total caloric surplus by finishing off with chocolate/icecream/sweets... this will no doubt support muscle gain and strength in the gym, but will the sweet stuff kill your body composition that badly as opposed to eating completely clean to hit that surplus?

CBum - two things 1. Trader Joe’s has a high protein tofu that’s firm. 2. Add some black salt and garlic and onion powder to that breakfast with a splash of cashew milk and you have fake scrambled high protein tofu that tastes like an actual egg..... just a little tip!

Ian didn't add liquid fruit juice to his diet for extra carbs, he's using fruit juice for digestion. Antoine talked about it in his videos. Pineapple juice is one of the best. Chinese knew about pineapple/juice for centuries. It's way they bring out pineapple chunks after eating Chinese food.

I wish so bad these dudes would go into detail about their juice cycles. There’s so much shitty information on the internet it’s hard to know what’s legit.
@WholeToast4 жыл бұрын
They won't go into their contest prep cycles because they want to make sure they keep their competitive edge. Cbum does claim he is on no more than 500 mg test per week (with nothing else) in the off-cycle. I would believe him seeing as he cannot gain weight to stay in his weight class and cruising on test with a surplus of calories should allow him to maintain and recomp a bit during the off-season.
