My biggest struggle is that I know I need to “reverse diet”. Years of starving myself has destroyed my metabolism because instead of focusing on strength and muscle, I was chasing a number on the scale.
@JoeySuggs Жыл бұрын
Yeah now that’s tough!! I’m definitely going to touch on this when R2R is over and how i plan to find that balance after cutting👌

AAA you must be listening to Mind pump 💪. I hear you guys a lot of people focus way too much on cutting calories instead of focusing on maintaining a healthy lifestyle where you can eat a certain amount of calories of calories and eat without feeling guilty

Advice for trusting the process? I hired a coach and I’m loving the process and not mad about it all- outside accountability is ❤. But like I know how to set my macros it’s the waiting and trusting what I set/decided that is hard. Weighing in and taking measurements also easy, I love data trends.

10:35, BIGGEST STRUGGLE IS, that I got 2x protruding discs over a year ago, have now lost +10kg, and basically are back to zero because I haven't been able to train, and still can't... It still hurts, and I'm not sure if I'm fucked for life tbh...

I did not follow the weights but how much turkey you put in each of the taco? Also you heated it 5 minutes on side, how much with taco side down? Equal timing on each side?
@psykidellic Жыл бұрын
Okay looks like you said quarter pound on each taco. So only question is how much time on the other side with the taco down.

Loving the voice over edits for the training sections - definitely more of that! As far as struggles, I personally have issues with getting in calories. It’s a result of some deeper issues I’m dealing with mentally that I’ve developed (but I’m getting through them). Sometimes I get afraid to eat, despite KNOWING the only way to make progress is to get the calories in. I know it’s probably a tough subject to cover, but any advice on this would be great. 🙏🏻
@JoeySuggs Жыл бұрын
Yeah and if the portions is the issue just try and eat more high fat foods to have more calories in less volume👌

Damn your physique is amazing! I love seeing how far you've come. Keep it up! My biggest struggle is trying to be active while working in an doctor's office setting. In retail I'd easily get 15k steps halfway into my shift and would often work 4 or 5am shifts but now it's a struggle to get up even at 6am and struggle to get even 10k steps. I love my line of work though but sitting for 8 hours each shift sure has taken a toll on me so I'd appreciate some tips on adjusting to a sedentary job while prioritizing fitness.
@JoeySuggs Жыл бұрын
Yep I work 9 hours a day and sit the entire time, just have to add extra cardio to make up for the lack of steps

Hey Joey I have a question I'm a female and I weigh 140lb, I'm 5f 1in and I do moderate workout 5 times a week. Gym 3 days for strength training and the other days cardio base workout walk or ride bikes. I'm just having such a hard time getting in 140g of protein daily I try but it's hard. Do you think I can decrease my protein to 80g? I know protein is thermogenic and it keeps you fuller longer but I'm struggling to hit it daily and most of the days I'm ending with 80 to 90g anyway. What's your advice? Much appreciated!!!

Not your coach but overall calorie intake means more than protein

Bro my biggest struggle is getting that cardio in. I train early morning 5:45-7am then have a super physical job building furniture and cabinets every day. By the time i clock out it’s all family time and cardio is NOT on the to do list. I don’t wanna cut my calories so I know that’s one thing I need but man idk where the time is at 😂

Stop. Cutting. Bulk. Eat more and lift more. You'll feel a shiiiiit ton better.

Brother, you do NOT need to cut if you’re underweight and 16. You need to eat and you’ll grow
@marcusbordeaux7548 Жыл бұрын
Eat more and work on building a substantial amount of muscle before cutting. Don’t be afraid of not being lean, just imagine the cut 2-3 years from now when you’ve built a lot of muscle.
@jeffmardock4899 Жыл бұрын
As stated you should be in a surplus not a cut if you are underweight. Especially at 16. No reason to cut.
