Great video of the Goodman! Honestly I still really love your content. I’ve been watching your channel for a very long time. It’s a shame the 2008 Goodman is gone but atleast you have this unit now. When this unit gets replaced I think you should get a rectangular one like the 2008 one. Happy new year!

Thanks :) I prefer the M series square units like i have now, they are was easier to work on vs the rectangular H series. it fits my house better. the M series have a variable speed blower whereas the H series (like my old one) have a fixed speed ECM blower.

Oh ok I understand. Definitely seems like this unit will last longer and work better than the 2008 one. Sorry to ask but do you know what went wrong with the 2008 unit? Did the compressor fail on it?

@@iowaacproductions698 Indoor blower motor cooked, and it was obsolete from Goodman, only solution replace the entire unit. i do have a video from new years eve 2020 when it failed on my channel :)

@@EthanHurley-ky4hi the wind will blow the fan blades, new unit probably has a tighter motor bearing wise vs the old unit.
