@@corporatebreakoutcouple Melbourne weather is never consistent. It changes every 10 minutes. Having saying that the air quality is more cooling, cleaner and fresher compared to SG where I was born.

Which is better for retirement Bangkok or Jakarta?

We actually would say both! Both cities offer different things. In terms of development, Bangkok is more developed than Jakarta. Cost of living - Jakarta is lower. Both are exciting cities and the best part is, use them as a base to explore the entire country! You can always do 1 year in each city and then decide which one you prefer to retire in. Do the same for Malaysia as well!

@ Thanks for your advice. I haven’t been to Jakarta yet but I have been to Bangkok a few times and KL once. Of the two, I chose Bangkok for the cost of living relative to what you get but I have to say some Chinese Malaysian birds are just lovely.❤️😆

@gprufino haha! We get what you mean. Do give Jakarta a visit to experience it for yourself. It's a busy city but there is a lot of grandeur as well. A nice blend of old and new. We love Jakarta for how chill and laid back it is, coupled with it's grandness of certain things due to the wealthy and socialites and yet, the cost is very affordable. Plus the service is top notch.
