Brilliant and insightful interview. I loved the thoughts shared here on this space. Btw, it is incredible you have a ticket from Live Aid 1985. Definitely an asset to have. I also have a habit of collecting such items as a huge music and film fan.

I wasn’t expecting much from a video about gaming. Not my interest. However, this is a surprisingly good interview. Really interesting perspective, and he’s thought about how to communicate it clearly. Connecting now and the new back to history.

Seems like the interview lacked focus on the 'gaming' aspect of it

Regarding the reluctance for western audiences to accept crypto in gaming. Over the past decade, gamers have seen a transition from $30 full games to $60 games that don't work on launch day, and contain the worst microtransactions known in the gaming world. This transition has made gamers cautious when it comes to the monetisation of their hobby. Adding on to this, many games these days are made by studios who do not seem to care about their workers, and seem to only want to churn out game after game, providing little to no actual merit. It is a frustrating situation to be in, and crypto just really isn't what gamers as a community want in their games.

Also, the gameplay of many modern games is forgone for story-based games, marking a transition in demographics that are interested in games. Often the stories are not even that good.
