Films-wise, WB should stick with PG-13 as there is still such a massive younger audience for the show that keeps growing, and it would certainly limit the younger teens and kids who adore the franchise and everything to do with it from reaching new content. Like a darker series with a tv-ma rating sounds incredible for us who have grown up with the Wizarding World, but I don't really see WB doing a tv-ma if they want to play it safe. I hope that when they do the reboot show, which we know they're going to do, they make most of the episodes after Prisoner of Azkaban's season will be tv-14 or tv-ma. Side note: some cool series that WB could make in my opinion are 1. The First Wizarding War (TV-14 & TV-MA) 2. The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore (TV-14) _dumbledore's autobiography_ 3. After The Second Wizarding War (TV-14) 4. Marauders (TV-14) 5. Harry Potter: Visions (TV-PG & TV-14) _wizarding world anime similar to what star wars did_ 6. Merlin (TV-14) 7. Hagrid's Tale (TV-14) _the journey hagrid took described in ootp chapter 20_ 8. The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black (TV-MA) _regulus black and kreacher show_ 9. I kind of disagree about the First Wizarding War being worse because it lasted longer, sure it lasted longer, but at least Voldemort was fighting AGAINST the establishment and the government. In the Second Wizarding War, Voldemort literally BECAME the establishment, he WAS the government for nearly a whole year. The first war, Voldemort didn't literally have control of Britain like he did during the second war, I think the totality of Voldemorts reign probably did more overall damage to the country as a whole than his slow burn uprising from the First war.

! Here’s a little story from Bloom’s point of view: --- As I stepped off the Hogwarts Express, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. Alfea was magical, but there was something so ancient and mysterious about Hogwarts. I clutched my suitcase tightly and tried to calm the butterflies in my stomach. “Bloom, over here!” A voice called out, and I turned to see a bushy-haired girl waving enthusiastically. “Hi, Hermione!” I smiled, glad to see a familiar face. We had exchanged letters before my arrival, and I was excited to finally meet her in person. Hermione introduced me to her friends as we walked to the Great Hall. “This is Harry, Ron, and Ginny,” she said, pointing them out one by one. Harry smiled warmly. “Welcome to Hogwarts, Bloom. Hermione’s told us all about you and Alfea.” I blushed a little, feeling a rush of warmth. “Thanks, Harry. It’s great to be here. Hogwarts is even more incredible than I imagined.” As we sat down for the feast, Ron leaned over, whispering, “So, you’re a fairy, right? Can you do, like, fairy stuff here?” I laughed, nodding. “Yeah, I can still use my magic. Wanna see a little demonstration?” Before Ron could respond, Hermione interjected, “Maybe later, Bloom. We don’t want to attract too much attention on your first night.” I winked at Ron. “I’ll show you something cool later.” After dinner, we headed to the Gryffindor common room. The cozy space, with its crackling fire and plush armchairs, felt welcoming. I was chatting with Ginny about Quidditch when Harry approached, holding a small, wrapped box. “Bloom, I wanted to give you this,” he said, handing it over. “A little welcome gift.” I unwrapped it to find a beautiful, enchanted bracelet. It shimmered with a soft, magical glow. “Harry, it’s lovely. Thank you!” He smiled, looking a bit shy. “I thought it might remind you of home.” That night, as I lay in bed, I couldn’t help but think about how different but wonderful Hogwarts was. The next few days were filled with new classes, magical creatures, and lots of laughter. One afternoon, I found myself alone in the library with Harry. We were studying for Potions, but I couldn’t concentrate. Harry was telling me about his adventures, and I was mesmerized by his stories. “You’ve been through so much,” I said softly. “You’re really brave, Harry.” He shrugged modestly. “I’ve had a lot of help. And now, I have another friend here to help too.” I felt a warm flush rise to my cheeks. “I’m glad I’m here. I’ve never felt so...at home.” Harry looked into my eyes, his gaze intense and kind. “I’m glad you’re here too, Bloom.” In that moment, the magic of Hogwarts felt even more enchanting. I knew this was the start of something special, filled with friendship, magic, and maybe even a bit of romance.

Lots of dictators don’t really, they just exploit the ideas and sensibilities of others to gain power, or they have a more practical incentive to commit mass slavery/genocide of a specific group of people rather than simply eugenics. Using people from the groups you’re targeting who has influence or similar view to you is a very important strategy. Voldemort wasn’t stupid, he knew a talented witch when he saw one, and I think he could have made an exception in Lily’s case whether it was to soften up Snape or not. I think he was just unable to instill a sense of internal hatred in Lily

The 6th movie shows dumbledore was already old, white hair and beard, when he went to recruit Tom at the adoption home. But in Fantastic Beasts Dumbledore is young and handsome when he fought Grindlewald? I’m confused is this a plot hole or am I understanding wrong ?

I was always curious on why Voldermort did not free Grindlewald and offer him a seat as a death eater.
@AustynSN5 ай бұрын
Their goals were different and Grindlewald could have been a threat to Voldemort's own power. While Voldemort _pretended_ to be about pure blood supremacy, he was really mostly interested in furthering his own power and immortality. Pure blood supremacy was simply an ideal he agreed with that he was able to use to further his own goals. Grindlewald truly did believe in Wizard superiority over Muggles; he was *far* less extreme than Voldemort. While Voldemort saw value in only the lives of "pure bloods" (himself being the exception because he'd "purified" his own blood when he murdered his father and like most racists, he's a hypocrite). Grindelwald saw both wizards and muggles as worthy of life and likely didn't care if a wizard's parents were muggle, wizard, or mix. He saw muggles not as undeserving of life, but of deserving of the "benefit" wizard rule, thinking that all lives would be better if wizards were in charge.

@@AustynSN Ah I see and have read that before. Still makes me wonder why he never went to him to learn from him, even if it ment he was only using Grindlewald to further his knowledge of magic. Not saying Gringlewald would have helped him but still I have always found it off Voldermort just never sought him for anything. Not knowledge or to join him or anything. Just to find out where the edler wand is.

@@Malkiore1 I'd guess that until he wanted The Elder Wand, Voldemort thought of Grindlewald as just a useless failure who fell to Dumbledore. Perhaps he also didn't want to meet him because of his own fear of Dumbledore. Like seeing the broken man that Grindlewald became would be a look at his own fate if he fought Dumbledore. (Though that is just wild conjecture on my part.)

Because he saw Grindelwald as a failure. He was defeated by Dumbledore (who did not duel to kill) despite having the elder wand and using dark magic...

I wish JK would write again, specifically the years following The Deathy Hallows, as well as the events during the time the Marauders were in school... even if she put it behind a paywall on her own site, and maybe find a handfull of publishers who wont cater to mainstream media pressure.. i think it would be well received and i think alot of the fans would want those 2 time periods expanded upon.... im very bummed about The Cursed Child, and Fantastic Beasts seems to be clawing to stay afloat.

Im working on a story that focuses on the First Wizarding War and how other countries view it and almost making a First World War like. Of course, I don’t know why we never get other countries' perspectives. Does Japanese also too practice dark arts? Why doesn't the MACUSA help out? Do they have their own intervention?

If voldemort wasn't so hung up in what type of objects he would choose to make his horcruxes he would have truly been immortal. Dude could have just picked up a random stone, made it a horcrux and dumped it in the middle of the pasific ocean or hiked into the middle of the appalachian mountains and made one from a random twig he found and just burried it in the middle of the forest. Dude could have literally just ported into the middle of the Sahara desert and made a funny looking cacti a horcrux and leave. There's a million stones just chillin on mount everest he could have made into a horcrux. Just leave it at a totally random ass place in some tiny crevas in the mountain somewhere. There is pyramids no human ever has set their foot in which he could enter and leave a horcrux.

See I have an odd perspective on it, I see it as there only having been 2 wizarding wars instead of 3. Those two being the one with grindelwald and the other being the one with voldemort that combined both into one, I just didn't really see the war as being over just because voldemort was defeated. Yeah sure, he may not have had nearly as much of a hold on the wizarding world, but he still very much made attempts left and right to influence it. Kinda like while there may not be any active fighting, the war still proceeds through other means.

I'm curious why did Dumbledore believe in Trivani prophecy about Harry if she was rarely correct?
@GamerX515 ай бұрын
Because it was literally the only hope he had left for stopping Voldemort. Think about it; Voldemort's forces were absolutely winning the war at that point, no one could stop him, and everyone who tried either died or was forced to serve him against their will. The Ministry of Magic was in complete and utter disarray, even muggles were beginning to die as a result of Voldemort's campaign. Dumbledore was desperate to stop Voldemort by any means necessary, and he didn't have the luxury of being picky in regards to who was offering him that means.
@Rykiz_Vidz5 ай бұрын
@@GamerX51Which also makes me wonder why Voldemort would even believe her prophecy? He was arrogant and i'm sure he didn't believe she had any ability to forsee the future. Why would he take any caution at all at that point?
@GamerX515 ай бұрын
@@Rykiz_Vidz Because Voldemort was incredibly paranoid; allowing any possibility of his own defeat to go unanswered was something that he was simply never going to do. He wasn't willing to take any chances at all when it came to his overall goals. Hence, his massive overreaction to the news of Harry's birth. Honestly, Voldemort wasn't defeated by Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix during the first Wizarding War, he was defeated by his own Paranoia. If he had simply ignored Snape and continued his campaign, he would have easily won the war; even Dumbledore couldn't have stopped him. (despite the books' frantic insistence to the contrary.) If Voldemort doesn't kill Lily Potter, Snape never turns on him; he remains a loyal death eater to the end of his days. Also, Peter Pettigrew's cover is never blown, so Voldemort could have used him to spy on the Order of the Phoenix from the inside, giving him an overwhelming tactical advantage in the war.

Dumbledore knew when Trelawney was in a legitimate seer state. She would go into trances that were difficult to bring her out of (if I remember correctly). Also, her predictions during her trance state tended to be less generic, but it's been awhile since I read the series. Point being, she would go into trance like fits, and that's how Dumbledore knew she was tapping into her gift.

If none of them believe her prophecy, how can the story continue? With story go on, voldemort and death eater getting less intelligent, that way, Rowling can finish the story in 7 books.

I feel like nobody will watch what Max is putting out, because how could that series possibly be any better than what we already have from WB?? I look at this as somewhat similar to trying to remake the original Star Wars trilogy. It just can't be done (or at least would not be nearly as beloved as the first go-round). A waste of money if you ask me. And a distinct sign that Hollywood is indeed running out of ideas, and can only remake/sequelize what came before.

I don't get why they say the first war was worse than the second and that Voldemorts power was greater as it was in the second war that he and his followers actually took over the ministry, a feat they couldn't achieve during the first war

Your timeline seems wrong, as Riddle already had the ring when he was discussing horcruxes with Slughorn. It's possible he hadn't turned it into a horcrux at this time, but that would mean the creation of one isn't directly tied to the killing of Gaunt. It's more likely that he had already made his first horcrux before discussing making more with Slughorn. It also seems more likely that his facination with the Hogwarts founders started during his school years, rather than after his first attempt to get a teaching possition there. Indeed a core reason for wanting to come back was likely this facination. Also you say the Giants resettled in Denmark, but in the books the seem to live in a "remote mountainous region in Northern Europe". Something that Denmark can hardly be described as, as it is very flat ;)

If JKR didn't become a foolish bigot, I'd love to see a prequel series focusing on the first war. I imagine Voldemort is alot less unstable, the death eaters would be alot more optimistic and happy while doing their terror, also since the Ministry of magic hadn't been completely overtaken, the whole conflict was much different with more open battles between the Order of the phoenix and death eaters, kind of on the periphery of the aurors and ministry, which would be focused on damage control like they are in the second war. Ya know, Dumbledores plans worked out in the end, but I can't help to wonder how much he could have done if he just took the Minister of Magic job instead of being a stubborn non-voter type just giving up on the ministry as a failed institution.
