Bleach is better than soap in some instances. Soaking bakeware with baked on messes in a mixture of bleach and cold water for 2 hours is a life saver. Its works for a lot of cookware/Bakeware so well. You don't have to scrub. Try that with soap. It will not work. You would have to scrub it. That is a waste of time and the result it not as good. On the flip side lot of people sanitize their homes especially during the pandemic. Sanitizing the whole house and trying to create an aseptic environment is actually harmful to our health. We need exposure to germs and viruses.

Amazing job as always, and so proud of that mom for reaching out. Seeing the 2 months later photos really illustrated how much of an impact giving a little help to get someone started can have. Speaking as someone who struggles with depression, sometimes my apartment will get a bit messy in places, and when I finally clean it, often there's a voice in my head saying "I can't believe you let it get this bad." Very negative thoughts. For someone with very serious depression, that alone can be enough to discourage them from even trying to clean. Giving someone a "fresh start" by waking up to a clean home can often be all they need to stay on top of it. I truly look forward to these videos all week and I hope you can keep doing them for a long time.

@georgielancaster13562 жыл бұрын
Why does she have to have a tv show? Then she needs to earn enough for 20 plus people, all wanting big money. Directors and Producers try to take over, you have to work to a schedule not to suit you - and the people taking over will no doubt twist it and want to use the depressed people, already so humiliated om the show. Director wanting them to cry, to humiliate themselves, on tv. Aurikateriina has yt, and other sites. She works as she wants to, only needing to pay for herself, sometimes plus friend, or boyfriend. She also gets sponsorship. Earnings can vary on yt, but she could earn $10,000 to $40,000 per million views, just on yt, and if she does 1 video a month, that is a very nice income. Plus perhaps, instagram, etc. She has a very flexible happy life, now. Let her just enjoy her life. Look at the numbernof views she gets. Just let her enjoy what she does.

I have said this before, but I will say it again. I love how these videos are about helping, not judging. In a lot of tv shows about cleaning very messy homes, there is a lot of judgement, both from the cleaners, as well as the comments underneath. I think many people do not understand how everyday tasks can become such a struggle, but they can. And having someone help, rather than just judge, that is the best way to help them get back on track.
@dcg5902 жыл бұрын
She should be judged. There are 2 children involved. She chose to have kids out of wedlock. This is all her own doing. Now she wants my sympathy? I only have it for the kids. Keep your place clean. Period.
@Liam04082 жыл бұрын
@@dcg590 it seems to me that the reason she wanted help is bc she was thinking of her 2 children. Depression is a very debilitating condition and makes it hard for people to see things clearly. Doesn't mean that she shouldn't clean, but seeing as we are all human beings and all parents/people make mistakes and need help sometimes we should not judge. Those who give mercy will receive mercy. I certainly hope that if you need help with something someday (doesn't have to be cleaning) that you will be shown compassion and mercy, not condemnation
@HereIAm247 Жыл бұрын
@@dcg590 As the story told within the first minute, the father decided to leave, which sparked the depression. Wedlock or not, people can still leave wether it is 'right' or not. I would say that the father abandoning his two children and their mother had quite a bit to do with it as well. Everyone can be knocked down in life. Actually being brave enough to ask for help, and let other people see the things you are most ashamed of, that should not be rewarded with judgement and cruelty.

Watching these videos seeing the before and after is addictive and really therapeutic. For overwhelmed parents I saw there is a KZbinr mother who suffered in debts and hoarding - she has transformed her and her family's life by simplifying and decluttering, and now she helps others too - The Minimal Mom . One of the coolest life hacks I saw her do apart from how to simplify and minimise things in your home that you have to take care of when you don't have time, was to give each family member only one set of plate, bowl, cup, cutlery etc to stop her kitchen always looking like a bomb hit it, and the children are toddlers now so old enough to wash their own plates set etc which they think is fun!
