These homes are so disturbing... more so because people are living this way - mostly the elderly... we need to take care of our neighbours who are not able to do for themselves! Not everyone has caring family or the means to pay for help. When Auri talks about how this could be her, I do understand. She is an Earth angel.
@christy4063 сағат бұрын
You know, in Miami it is extremely common to splice up homes and rent out parts of it (efficiency)... this is actually a good option for older people because they would lessen their living space to a more manageable size, bring in some extra income (possibly affording them the ability to pay for a cleaning service) and also have a person nearby who would check in on them if they aren't behaving normally.

Cleaning with you would be a dream come true! I absolutely adore doing transformations for people who need it. In fact, I just got a job for a nonprofit where I'll be helping elderly and/or disabled people who are trying to live on their own; assistance with driving to appointments, teaching them how to budget, handling tough government paperwork and calls, occasionally cleaning, etc. My favorite feeling in the world is when someone realizes that the huge task hanging over their head has been handled and they can breathe easier. 💜

Auri how do you accept cleaning homes with no running water? This client has had NO water for 3 years! That's crazy! But you are the world's best cleaner so you show us how to do it. 👍👍 Alicia is an angel for helping her neighbor Ronnie. Your pronunciation of certain words in English are endearing so say it as you like. We Love how you say "trashes"; it's you and it's cute. The bath tub ugly strips are normal in America. They are for safety so not slip and fall. That tub is old so it is no longer useful.

The biggest enemy of any cleaner/ housekeeper/ maid is TIME. Auri cleans for free, but, still, her valuable work is timed. And it's IMPOSSIBLE to clean everything, perfectly in a rush. When you are cleaning, time flies, specially in houses like these. That's why I don't like to clean houses, even if the pay is good. Nope! In hotels is the same, 30 minutes or less for each room, doesn't matter if there is a kitchen in the guestroom.😡. It's easy to critize, when you never clean for a living and you just sit there watching the video. I don't know how Auri stay motivated the entire cleaning ( hours after hours removing trash and cleaning). It might be EXHAUSTING.😮

Funfact about water: If you are a renter, not homeowner in Germany all water used in a apartment is payed by the landlord untill the person who moves into the apartment has their own contract to pay for it. Or as in many cases the water is already in the rent so you might only get asked at the end of the year to pay extra if you used more water

What great results. I am sure that your efforts are extremely appreciated!! They do sell shower heads here in the US that have a hose and are movable! I agree they are the most useful. When we bought our house, the first thing we did was replace the shower heads with ones that have hoses. It makes showering and cleaning so much easier. Also, it is better for kids. When I was a young kid and transitioning from baths to showers, the movable shower head made my parents' lives so much easier. They are very inexpensive and easy to install, so if you have a small budget to work with, it may make your life easier to install one in future bathrooms you want to clean so you can save some time.
