Really enjoyed the boat tour with the excellent commentary. It's a shame the people sitting directly infront of you did not take advantage of the interesting commentary. A great way of seeing lots of the attractions along the river. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful day to be out and about! The narration was just right all the way to Greenwich. I've spent no time in the village of Greenwich, but have climbed the hill to the observatory. This after visiting the naval museum, which features detailed cutaway models of many ships of the 17th to 19th centuries. These one-of-a-kind models were built at about a half inch per foot scale to see if the parts would fit together as intended.

1:10:36 While I have no wish to pour cold water on this entertaining story but a quick Ecosia search finds that the term "stiff" in fact just means "strong" and was used for many years with that meaning before the incident related by the speaker. Still a good one for the tourists though! 🤔

34:30 I know you mentioned about it during your road trip, but I'm still mind blown about the original London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona! Too bad, you didn't raise your hand when the tour guide asked if anyone has heard about it before. 😂 52:37 Great views of the Tower Bridge! This was an amazing and informative boat tour through River Thames, and the scenery is beautiful! 😍 Thank you for sharing this fabulous boat ride, AK! 🤗

Thanks AK for another great video. Your video tours of London are the best I've ever seen filmed with care and in superb quality 4K. I hope you were able to have a look around Greenwich a bit. The Royal Observatory and the Royal Naval College are certainly worth seeing. For some reason I always find the actual 0 degrees longitude meridian, upon which GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is based, to be very evocative of Britain's long naval tradition and its place in world history.

I would have politely asked the Ukrainians in front of you to stop talking so loudly. They probably don't understand much English, so they just keep yapping in their own language. I have experienced this with Spanish speakers at Disney World also. Just RUDE!
@vesper.q4100 Жыл бұрын
💯agree - they gob shyted through the whole thing ..not even paying to anything but themselves ..unbelievably rude & self concerned🤨 ..spoilt it totally...
@planetpluto430 Жыл бұрын
Imagine individuals non-native like me, committed to understand the British accent in that circumstances. Even with closed captions on, those people were pretty inconvenient indeed. Narrator should advert them to keep silence.

Ukrainians are loud and entitled!
@mutley23able Жыл бұрын
They're just rude, I know a Ukrainian who I work with, been here about 18 months now and has not bothered to learn a word of English. Gave them the benefit of the doubt at first, but we have another Ukrainian here as well, who has lived here years can speak good English and can't even be bothered to translate for her, it really pisses most of us off. I have make the effort all the time by having to use a google translator in Russian. I don't understand why a country at war still wants to speak in that language that treats them so bad, when their President wants to be on the Western side of the World. I'm sure there are some nice people who might make an effort in a country that's putting them up, but it's not one that I have experienced so far, just bizarre and weird in my opinion.
@Tuffydipstick Жыл бұрын
I agree those people in front totally spoiled it. Yapping all the way through. Why didn’t the narrator tell them to shut up.
