I hadn't been to London for decades. My husband surprised me with a birthday trip there in 2022. I think he secretly also wanted to be in a country where English was spoken! Great tour around London. Interesting fact about London Bridge. The previous London Bridge built in the 1830's was relocated brick by brick to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1968 and then reassembled when the City of London sold it to an American real estate developer to build the new one. It spans the Bridgewater Channel Canal and is a National Historic (international?) Landmark. Kind of random but very cool.

My maternal grandparents are from England (Birmingham) and I truly feel like I was meant to be born in England. Haven't actually been to London but it's one of my favorite cities because of history, literature, media, and your videos! Fantastic walk around London! Fun fact: The old London Bridge is actually in the middle of desert in the US! A businessman bought it and had it reassembled brick by brick - lampposts included! It's located in Lake Havasu, Arizona. It's right on the border between California and Arizona, around two and a half hours away from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hannah - I am from Australia and coming to London for the 2nd time in November (binging on your channel - so much great advice). When I was there in 2016 with my Mum - we saw MacBeth at Shakespeare's Globe. We loved it - and you don't need to understand the story or Shakespeare to appreciate the show. I bought us tickets in the seating area - I didn't want to make my Mum stand during the show. However she said that next time - she wants to stand down in the pit !!!! It is so interactive with the actors. I think you would love it - it will take you back 500 years.

I am so happy you posted this video. When I was in London and hosted guests, I always made sure I took people along this walk as I agree it is just too terrific to miss! We would often start at Westminster and then walk toward the Millennium bridge, depending on the time we had, going all the way to Borough some days. I was so full of emotion seeing so many favorite spots. At 10:18 in the video you pass by a terrific touristy souvenir shop that was a great find on the walk between Borough and the Anchor.
