Trans go dose and with the vacuum port. Also shows how to remove lock up etc. Main reason hotroders do this is overdrive and no computer

Why is vacuum needed? Theres an electronic kit on ebay thats just for full manual that doesnt require vacuum.

So this seems like the place to ask. Every shifter my family runs on their drag cars is a rachet shifter but on street they just throw it in drive and cruise on the street but im looking for something more manual where you down shift to 1st at stops and through turns like a stick but im not converting my car to complete stick because screw that so ive got a b&m shifter i have in mind and it goes park, reverse, neutral, 1st, second, 3rd. In that order and i want to drive my TH350 like a stick so could someone point me in the right direction?

Theres the full manual patterns your describing already but other than that no such thing exists. Maybe im Still not quite understanding what your looking for.

If you mean that it does that in a straight line, that sounds like a reversed pattern shifter, and they make them. They're good for holding gears and not accidentally slapping it into neutral at full chat.
