More than 20 years ago I watched a show with Clark and he suggested Vanguard. I was new to the investing game at the time. My picks on Vanguard have outperformed the picks made by an Edward Jones agent. Needless to say, I moved everything from EJ to Vanguard.Thank you Clark!!

I made the same move, left EJ and moved everything to Vanguard, best thing I ever did.

It was a Samsonite suitcase the guerilla could not destroy. I received one as a graduation gift, I used it for 25 years before the latch broke. Best suitcase ever.

Watch for pickpockets in Athens. They got my credit card. My husband back in the states luckily canceled it for me. However, I had to live off a friend for the remainder of the trip. To add insult to injury we had a cab driver trying to extort an exorbitant fee from us. The hotel helped us on that one and we weren’t on the hook. I was also told by a flight attendant to wear no visible jewelry. She also said they can’t tell the good from the bad, so don’t invite trouble by wearing jewelry.

We just returned from Athens. We called our hotel. They quoted us $55 to travel from the airport to our hotel. It can be done cheaper with Uber, but you need to have phone service first. Uber is cheap and readily available in Athens, but we did have some problem on one of the islands.

How long are the batteries good for? A tornado came through last summer and the power was lost for close to 3 days. I would think a hurricane the power could be out for weeks.

I would be cautious about recommending the "Battery Wall" system for home emergency power loss. The reason? Look at the unanticipated problem with EVs catching fire in owners' garages and then burning the house down. What we've seen so far may be the "tip of the iceberg" and, quite frankly, I would rather go with a LP gas or Nat Gas powered emergency generator. BTW, I have neither at this time.

funny that airports do all that facial recognition...but not at the border for illegals.

I love biometrics. The airlines and TSA need this information to maintain safe flying. Much better than having to fumble for one's passport and boarding pass while carrying my backpack and carry on luggage. I will agree there needs to be Federal regulations limiting this information to those that need to know.

Run away screaming from Disney Vacation Club. It's just a timeshare. They have it locked down and you'll never get a deal from them. Even those who made the mistake and bough into DVC cannot sell their weeks without first giving Disney the right of first refusal. If the price you're getting is too low, they'll buy your weeks and resell them for more.

"Airport facial recognition" is code for "You are now in a police state". Of course it's touted as for your own safety, convenience, etc. It's the modern day equivalent of Jews being given a bar of soap and told to go into that room over there to take a shower. We are doomed as a society. :((
@billcook47688 ай бұрын
I think you do a great disservice and disrespect by comparing a loss of digital privacy - which admittedly is bad - to the holocaust.
@terry_willis8 ай бұрын
@@billcook4768 Sorry if this offended you. However, I believe the proportionality exists because what is happening today is not just loss of digital privacy. The digital privacy loss is just the first step in the complete take over and subjugation of our society by powerful worldwide forces. People are willing to give up a little privacy for a little convenience. Then they will give up a little more, and a little more. Until finally they/we realize it is a complete totalitarian police state. Are you aware of Klaus Schwab and his WEF. These are truly psychopaths who want to enslave the world.Please research this if you haven't yet. I think Clark was just touching the tip of a dystopian iceberg.
