@@Alex-sf9bo Stop it, 2 years ago his defense helped with the Super Bowl run and win. Tom Brady wasn't great this past season. Tom gets all the credit when team wins and when he losses it's the coach, it's defense, it's everyone else's fault. Tom Brady always gets a pass because he's the golden boy please. I have nothing but respect for Tom Brady what he's done in his career but stop bashing others to lift Brady up, he doesn't need it. Plus it's hard enough for black coaches to get head coaching jobs.
@paulmilford1187

@@mikem4481 So there isn't a hiring problem with black coaches in the NFL? When they are given head coaching job, it's a rebuild. When they do turn the team around they are fired for a white coach who then gets all the credit or they don't do as good of a job.

Even as a bonafide "Brady-Hater" I've gotta admit today is truly a sad day. Truth to tell, I felt like Brady still had something left, but did not have the offense to get it done last year. The Brady era is over and man what a ride! Congrats on your amazing and stellar career. (I disagree with Francesa's claim that Payton Manning didn't play well in the playoffs. He went to 4 Super Bowls in the same conference as Brady's Patriots, and actually has a winning record vs Brady in the playoffs) Enjoy your retirement on Mt Rushmore Tom!

He had Moss for essentially one year and they went undefeated up to the end of the Super Bowl. Until Peyton’s first Broncos season it was the greatest offense in NFL history and is still ranked #2. Until he had Gronk, Brady never again had a great receiving talent with the Patriots. Look at the SB51 receiving corps. No Gronk - just Hogan, Mitchell, Edelman. Not exactly Kelce and Tyreek. The AFC was very weak in the 80s. For many of those years, the Super Bowl was more of a coronation for the NFC Champion than anything else. So it's bizarre to hold up Montana's Super Bowl performances as some sort of ultimate measure.

Thank you Tom for being the greatest role model and player of all time. He just couldnt win long term without his biggest supporter - Gisele. He called her his "good witch" because of her emotional/spiritual intelligence. He was used to having his sisters and Mom be his biggest emotional supporters and this really broke him. He was so great not just because of all his work and his talent but because he was THE MOST EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT... and HUMAN, which is why he could LEAD like no other famous player. Gisele helped keep him level as he got more famous and hot headed and when he got down. It's so hard to lose your partner. (Not to mention the Bucs had no O line and lousy coaching this year)

I disagree though. He basically played seasons, not 23. He was in the league for 23 seasons. He never tried to get stats , only wins mattered and yet he has all the stats. Dig that for a minute. For some strange reason, he never got credit for having an Canon arm . In reality he had an amazing arm.

As much as Brady gets praised for winning, he started his career as the underdog that scouts and coaches didn't believe in. He was not the golden boy all american that people see him as today. Remember he was not drafted to New England to be their starting qb, they had just signed Drew Bledsoe to the richest contract in the league. He worked and evolved to become as good as was. He's more relatable to the everyday person than we think.
