@@DivineMojo Wow, thanks for the tip! I will join that FB group! And I’m actually a flight attendant, so I’m very rarely home. I’ve found that I’m paying thousands of dollars in rent for an apartment that I sleep in maybe 10 nights out of the month, tops. It doesn’t make sense. So I could park my car in the airport parking lot indefinitely, where it’s secure, and just sleep there nights that I’m back at my home base. The other nights, my airline puts me up in nice hotel rooms when I’m away. So I really really want to start living in a car and get away from paying for an apartment.

My suggestion to your funnel is just cut a ordinary water bottle off. It will fin inside your daily bottle. And dry ing will flow better. Love your videos.

Your smoothie will be so much better when you have cold ingredients. My fave: 1/2 organic green apple, 3 stalks of organic celery, 1 organic carrot, 1 scoop of protein, fill to top with fresh oj or tangerine juice. I blend it in my Magic Mini NutriBullet (200 w used with a 300w inverter or the car started). It takes 30 secs. to blend. If you want more particulars, shoot me an email.🌿

I have to see that so I hope it’s in one of your videos. I also read that you are considering going larger with a minivan. Are you about to do that? I live in my new to me DGC van stealthily in urban NJ but keep a storage unit close by to trade out clothes, books, etc. However I hope to leave NJ for good & travel for a while by the end of the year. Awesome! I just got a kia soul today 12/18/20 and I’m so excited to get started! It’s 1 AM as I’m writing this comment so technically I got it yesterday. Have you consider putting a cargo carrier on the back of your kia soul? My plan is to remove all the seats and build a platform with free pallets where i can have storage at the bottom and my bed at top, add a cargo carrier and put a storage container on the cargo carrier, install solar power, and buy a 12 volt fridge. This is the plan and hopefully in a couple of months if god lets me I can do it I just need to save more money. This type of videos have given me hope again! I’m really exited to get started in this journey! Thank you for your inspiration!

Hi Susan! Thank you for watching! Great questions! I actually have reflectix on the bottom as well. I am going to be updating that whole section. I’m going to build a box that is open on the sides so I can just slide a container in and out to access it better without having to move the items on top. My food storage right now is so awesome because its cool out lol. Highs of only 75 in the day. If I were to be somewhere where it is over 75 at night I am not sure how that would be. Hi! I never had a cooler in the Kia but I had one in my Ford van. I would have to get ice every 2-3 days! I have a 23 quart 12v fridge now and it is amazing!! 🤩🙏🏼💖

I'd remove the seats (except driver of course) and build an even platform (via 3/8" ply with 2 X 2 supports). I'd need an ice chest with a flat top (a brand that is tall with a small footprint). That would be for starters. Need a power supply to run that fan, laptop, charger for phone, LED light or two (you don't wanna use the vehicle battery). Charge it off the vehicle when its running. yeah stuff like that.

If u put all the dry in first to ur smoothy it maybe easier? Idk. Just saying? Then the dry gets clumpy. A straw works to poke the dry down. Im inspired to move into my kia🙏🤩😍🤩🙏🕺stayin safely alive!

Hi! Great question. I did it by choice and necessity. I have been wanting to live nomadically for years. I only decided this past summer to just go for it, because I needed to save money to go to California to see if I can find my son. I am loving it and have no plans to stop. I have a 2016 Soul. You have definitely maximized every square inch of space in there. I'm considering something like this for traveling so I don't have to rent motel rooms. With me and my husband we'd have to set up a little different though. I have a suggestion for your smoothie prep. How about using snack bags and putting your dry mix together, then in the mornings you can add that to your water and fruit. I think it would make it easier for you. 😊

My 2015 Soul has been. Back and forth From Michigan to Maine / to Texas / to Idaho. red eye and lazy bones travelling seeing Sun rise ans ses. watched Eclipse been to Escanaba MI in Da Moonlight on Valentine's day , rocked its way off snow impass deeper than I ever thought it could , crossed deserts Completed I-90 I-75 I-95. I want to run the full length of Interstate 1/ 25 /15/20. Before we move to retire this Soul love my soul. Worn Brakes and tires get replaced and we leep going. After last. Warranty checks & upkeep the get up and go is very close to when I drove off the lot.

I have 2016 kia soul plus with sun roof question is do you have a spare tire in your trunk because in my car I don't I have an air pump and I have all that open space where my tire would have been and I was thinking about doing the same thing with my Kia. I have a 2018 Kia Soul electric. Pretty rare model. You can leave an EV on all night to run heat or air conditioning,, listen to Safelight radio, etc. It would be a great car to camp in. Love the Soul.

@@DivineMojo Mostly in Oregon.CA and Washington states. A few others had them too. 2018 and 19s had a longer more usable range but I think only around a thousand were sold or leased out in the USA.

@@DivineMojo I also have a 2020 Chevy Bolt EV. I prefer the Kia Soul's shape, but the Bolt with a CCS fast charger option can be driven anywhere with no concern about range due to it's long range battery.. There is a rear seat delete commercial version available from Chevy, or just buy used and have a body shop remove the rear seat and deactivate the rear side AIRBAGs. Don't do it your self. They can open. The car in this form would make a really great camper. The Premier version has rails to attach a luggage carrier on top.

@@DivineMojo only camped a couple times in a Soul. Had several instruments and other musicians with me. I was playing for a contra dance. Had a tent for storage of stuff while sleeping. It still works well, but a very small trailer, maybe even a motorcycle trailer, would add space for the extra things. I have pulled a small light trailer with no difficulty.

Hey Mindy, hope ur doing great. Clever lady, I see that reflectix under the Mermaid lid, everything has a porpoise😁. In such a small space, every item must be essential,& preferably have multi-uses. I lost my wee Buddha, will source another when I get to the Southwest soon, in malachite or another mineral I luv. Good u have some knives. Consider one with a seatbelt cutter & glass breaker, rescue/Police/firefighter,EMT style, for emergency egress post accident or car fire. Often, accidents damage the seatbelt buckle mechanism and preclude fast exit. Also, even a minor collision renders the vehicle undrivable as the fuel safety shut off switch is inertia driven & disables the car. Greedy and unscrupulous tow drivers will sometimes charge the hapless driver big bucks$$ to be able to drive away by resetting the switch via a button or switch. Good to know. U def need a battery operated type NutriBullet for those yummy smoothies. Think how good&healthy half of one of those bananas,blueberries,etc would be into the blender. One more thing. Watch out for plastics impact on ur health.Specifically,phthalates. Cloudy,milk jug type are worse than clear, all are bad for chemical leaching into water & foodstuffs& gets worse with heat as in a microwave. Whoa, wait - is that a bungee cord across the back of your car? At 18:00 stretching from one side to the other through the interior trim. I've been trying to think of a way to attach a bar across the back of my car. Is the cord being held just by the plastic trim? Is it hooked into the metal frame behind the trim? My son has his own business and has altered his works van into a campervan so on weekends you can change a couple of things around and go off with his girlfriend and then turn it back into his own works van I'm very impressed with it. Hi Linda! I am 5’6 and I can almost lay completely straight out. I would if I moved the passenger seat up more. However I am a side sleeper so I like having my legs tucked up a bit. I sleep so good!! Hi Audrey! Great question. For the first three months I used restrooms at the beach, my job and the gym. Now that I am traveling I still use public restrooms when available but I have a 2 gallon bucket as well as a plastic screw top container in case of emergency if I need it. Thank you for watching!
